Spiritual Reminder: 🕊️
— ctto.
“Many people think that they found God by their own effort. They believe that one day they decided to follow Him, one day they chose to believe, and one day they started seeking Him. But the truth that Jesus reveals in John 15:16 is powerful and humbling:
“You did not choose Me, but I chose you.”
Before we ever looked for God, He was already looking for us.
Before we ever prayed, He already knew our name.
Before we ever understood His love, He already gave His life for us.
The nail-scarred hand in this image reminds us of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Those wounds tell a story of mercy, forgiveness, and redemption. Jesus stretched out His hands on the cross so that we could be saved, forgiven, and restored. His love was not forced by our goodness; it was given freely by His grace.
Sometimes we feel small, weak, and unworthy. Sometimes we feel like we are not good enough to be loved by God. But this verse reminds us that our relationship with Him does not begin with our choice — it begins with His choice.
God chose to love you.
God chose to forgive you.
God chose to give you a new life.
God chose to call you His own.
Just like a strong hand reaching down to lift a child, Jesus is always reaching out to us. In our weakness, He gives strength. In our darkness, He brings light. In our lost moments, He guides us back to the right path.
No matter how far someone feels from God, His hand is still extended. His grace is still available. His love is still calling.
Today, remember this truth: You are not forgotten. You are not rejected. You are chosen.
The same hand that was pierced on the cross is the same hand that holds you today and leads you into a life filled with purpose, hope, and eternal salvation.
Hold on to Jesus, because the hand that holds you is the hand that will never let you go.”
