Luck Spell Jar

It’s been a while, I hope you’re all doing well :)

If an ingredient is in bold it is highly recommended you use it, all the others are optional.

Salt- protection (eggshells will serve the same purpose)

Nutmeg- luck (rosemary can replace any herb you don’t have)

Cinnamon- strengthens spell, luck

Orange peel- positive change

Luck sigil- this will make your intention very clear (my post on sigils)

Aventurine- luck (clear quartz can replace any crystal you don’t have)

Amazonite- luck

Yellow turquoise- luck

Something to seal- candle wax, crayon, glue, tape, etc. (I used green candle wax)

these aren’t all the correspondences of these ingredients, just the ones relevant to the spell :)

Finding Motivation Spell

As requested, one of my witch babies on my Discord server needed a spell for motivation to get up and get moving.  Staying motivated can be hard, but this simple spell will pry you up from the depths of blankets and pillows, lift your spirits, and get your goals locked in mind.

YOU WILL REQUIRE

–a stick of your favorite incense –a candle

SPELLWORK

1. First light your incense and candle.

2.  Now write on a full size sheet of paper what you need accomplished. 

3.  Place your cauldron or pot in front of you. Hold the paper in one hand and the incense in your power hand. Focus on what you wrote on the paper and swirl the incense around the paper in a clockwise motion. When you are ready to begin place your incense in its holder.

4.  Fold the paper three or four times toward you and light one corner on fire. You can immediately drop the paper into the cauldron or you can hold it until it burns halfway and then drop it in. Once the fire is in the cauldron say: 

Remove this feeling of tired and drained I desire to feel refreshed as a summer rain To move quickly and with purpose, I request From here on out laziness will suppress My fingers become nimble and quick As the fire burns from this candlestick This spell harms none And motivates one As I will it, so shall it be! 

5.  Look into your cauldron and make sure all pieces of paper are burned.  There can be NO pieces of paper left only ashes. So, thoroughly burn any pieces that remain intact. Repeat this spell while burning any extra pieces of paper.  Then collect the ashes in your hand and either step outside or blow the pieces into the wind through a window.

“BUT I CAN’T BURN ANYTHING” SPELL ALTERNATIVE

If you cannot burn the paper, rip it into tiny, tiny, tiny pieces while saying the spell.  You can release those pieces of paper into the wind or bury them, or throw them into the trash and immediately take the trash out of your home. 

Instead of the previous incantation involving fire, you would recite: 

Remove this feeling of tired and drained I desire to feel refreshed as a summer rain To move quickly and with purpose, I request From here on out laziness will suppress My fingers become nimble and quick As hands work and paper splits This spell harms none And motivates one As I will it, so shall it be!

Low Energy Devotional Activities and Ways to Connect with the Gods

Let's be honest, religion and consistent practice can be HARD, especially when you're chronically ill, disabled, mentally ill or neurodivergent. This is a list of lower energy practices you can do to connect with your Gods when you're having a rough day.

Pray. You don't have to say the prayer. You don't have to do the full cleansing and offering. Just think about the prayer. It could be as simple as "'Deity Name', thank you. I'm thinking of you and appreciate you."

Dedicate any self care you do to the Gods. You've got to take meds? awesome. it's now a devotional activity.

If you can, light a tea light candle. You can think about who you're dedicating it to as you're lighting it.

Tell them about your day. Have a simple conversation with them (again, this can be in your head if needed).

Offer some water! Water is a great offering if you don’t have the energy to cook, collect or buy something.

Incense is also a great offering because you can light it then forget about it and your house won’t burn down (if you follow regular safety measures). 

Resting. Your deities want you to be okay. Dedicating your rest to your deities is especially great if you feel guilty for allowing yourself time to heal.

Turn on a video of someone reading mythos! 

Put on a deity playlist. There are plenty of pre-made ones on Spotify. 

Veil or bind your hair! Whenever I’m low energy I’ll throw my hair in a ponytail and bind it that way. It doesn’t have to be extravagant. 

Make a Pinterest board for them!

Post on a digital altar! There are plenty of discord servers that have digital altars and temples. You could also make a devotional Tumblr blog. 

Change your phone lock/home screen to something that reminds you of your Deity.

I hope this is helpful to anyone who needs it! Take care of yourself first and foremost. If you don't think you can manage something on this list then thats perfectly fine too! you're not a bad person for not being able to do something spiritual or religious. Ultimately, these things are not a necessity. Don't stress :)

‘The Ghetto Tarot’: Haitian artists transform classic tarot deck into stunning real life scenes:

Welcome to the Ghetto Tarot, a project from award-winning documentary photographer Alice Smeets and a group of Haitian artists known as Atis Rezistans. The idea was to take the classic Rider-Waite tarot deck of 78 cards and create a photographic version of each card using settings and objects in the vibrant ghetto of Haiti.

As Smeets says, “The spirit of the Ghetto Tarot project is the inspiration to turn negative into positive while playing. The group of artists ‘Atiz Rezistans’ use trash to create art with their own visions that are a reflection of the beauty they see hidden within the waste. They are claiming the word ‘Ghetto,’ thus freeing themselves of its depreciating undertone and turning it into something beautiful.”

⛤Simple Protective Spell⛤

The use of salt in rituals has been present since ancient times, because it is believed that it can neutralize negative energy from space and ward off evil forces. 

⛤You’ll need:

A piece of paper

Salt

⛤How to:

Take the piece of paper and wrap a few lumps of salt in it, then wipe your windows, doors and door locks with it.

After finishing, throw it in the garbage, just make sure to do it outside of your home.

Freezer Binding Spell

Utensils:

Water

Freezable Container

The best time to do this spell is during a waning moon. 🌙 (3rd quarter)

Focus on what you want this spell to accomplish, your intention behind it. When it's clear - write it on the photo or paper. Say, "I bind (insert person/thing) from doing harm to me." x's 3 or 9 times. Place it in the container and cover completely with water, and freeze.

If you feel the situation is resolved, take the container out of the freezer and let it thaw. Bury the paper/photo, pour the water over it and say, "I release this binding, but not the intent behind it."

⛤A Simple Spell Against Anxiety⛤

⛤ Hello to all Crafters! ⛤

Today we will show you how to do a simple spell against anxiety.

However, you need to remember, this won't replace any treatments, if you're under antidepressants or anxiolytics.

Follow the indications of your doctor, first and foremost.

The first point will be to purify your environment : either with sage (that will bring good spirits around you), or by doing a few minutes of meditation with the intentions of clearing the space around you in mind.

In a bowl, mix a bit of lavender, chamomile, sage (or sage-salt) and laurel.

Then add a pinch of salt.

While mixing the whole (in a clockwise direction), think about what brings you anxiety.

If you can't think about it, just focus on this core feeling and imagine all of this fear going from your guts to the mixture you are blending.

When you feel ready, light a candle, your mixture still in front of you and say:

"In this receptacle, flooded by relief and healing, I drown my anxiety that chokes me.

I allow the universe to show me the way, and I ask for trust and peace in my being.

Let it be so. as I deserve it.

Let it be so, as I ask it."

You can repeat it as much as you want, as long as you want.

When you're done, take all of the mixture, put it in a trash bag, and throw it away.

Focus during this everyday-life movement because you will also throw away the anxiety that haunts you.

You can repeat the spell a cople of times a week if you desire!

Simple Money Spell

Ingredients:

Bay Leaf, Pyrite, Cinnamon, Cayenne Pepper, $1 bill, and a Jar.

Write your MONEY INTENTION on the Bay Leaf and fill the jar with the ingredients while saying:

"Money, money, come to me. In abundance, three times three. Enrich me in the best of ways. Harming none on its way. Bring me money, three times three. This I accept, so mote it be!"

Tips to making your spell more powerful:

Light a green candle, light an incense to help focus your mind on achieving specific goals, and/or add other herbs/crystals that attract money. For example, Green Aventurine, Mint, Citrine, Basil, or you can add coins to the jar as well!

7 springs of garden rue

3 coins

3 white rose petals

a small bag

yellow thread

⛤How to:

During the Full Moon, take 7 sprigs of garden rue, 3 coins and 3 white rose petals. 

Place them in the palm of your hand and ask the deity/energy/spirit/angel you work with for good health, happiness and prosperity. 

After that, put all this in a new white canvas bag that you will sew with yellow thread. 

Always carry this bag in your purse.
