Don't Front On US
African-Americans did something here. Despite being treated like shit in this country. We rise to extraordinary heights. We will continue to do so.
In the end is it a two party race?
If you look at the U.S. healthcare system, it is a system that de-incentizes unhealthy lifestyles, indirectly. The US makes it expensive to get sick. While some European countries take the opposite approach.
The US makes it hard to easy to get sick and relatively expensive to get treated. Healthy alternatives are also more expensive. This makes it seem as it is a vested interest in making it more difficult to remain healthy than to not be sick. To create substantive change we need to changes this equation. Healthy solutions should be incentivized.
While some European countries, it is generally not penalized to get sick and relatively expensive to purchase food that isn't healthy.
When you enter a job or situation think about how you want to exit. This will help guide you to make better decisions for your life path. Most of the time you will want to leave amiablily and having this desire helps you set boundaries of engagement.
Early morning are so beautiful it's so mean that they put them in the early morning
Some would say that’s why it’s in the early morning. Only those who truly love it will put the effort in to enjoy the fullness of it’s beauty.
Nervous to be pretty
I get nervous to be pretty. I get nervous being pretty in certain areas. I see so many "Pretty Girl"s who are comfortable and thrive and flow in the being the center or having the spotlight. Margot Robbie and Jennifer Lawrence did an interview on a round table where she's effortless in the role, really just natural, comfortable and even using the spotlight well.
It's uncomfortable sometimes, I hide the aspects of me that could be considered pretty. I remember moments where being pretty meant being taken, or ppl intruding on my boundaries or space, or encroaching where I didn't really want that. It's such a weird thing. I hope I feel better about it someday.
Adult Restorative Justice Program
The city posted looking for a vendor. I would love to create an Adult Restorative Justice Program. Creating modules to help heal, and rehabilitate previously incarcerated people, with tools to heal emotional trauma, healthy outlets or ways to cope, present professionalism, and communication skills. I wouldn't know where to start tho.

Carlee, The Voice & Missing Black Girls
It’s such a strange thing that black people think major broadcast networks give af about them. When’s the last time CNN,MSNBC, CBS, or Fox News gave af truly. If you think CNN has power like that then first take the time to acknowledge how much power we are outsourcing to them to be the first and biggest to care about a black girl missing. The truth is that they never cared about missing black girls, only used Carlee to further marginalize our voices, our cries, to MARKET and associate crying wolf. The same thing they did for Jessie Smollett.
If it takes one person to invalidate the validity of this, it was never real anyway.
My life is filled with great abundance in every area.
What is sexual harassment? For Black Women
To be honest I idn't and don't resonate with the #MeToo ovement. Anything that gets hijack by white women I'm cautious of. Because of things like Emmitt Till. That's like a weaponized white feminism. But let's explore and understand what this is.
Sexual harassment are unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, and other verbal or physical harassment of a sexual nature.
Examples include, a man grabbing his crotch and shaking it at you and making eye contact, taking out their dick without being prompted or any precursor or consent. Grabbing you when you actually don't want to be. These things can be small. They aren't neglieble. Even if in the moment you seem to be making a "big deal" of it. It's important to respect yourself and protect and assert your agency. While they give sex education classes. You need to understand the casual sexual nature that is implied that are either welcome or unwelcome to take back your power.
So many ppl think if I can make it small enough or directed just at her, discreet, others won't notice, she may be too afraid to say anything, she may doubt she saw it, and the woman may think so too. .
It can be difficult to stand up for yourself. But you have a right too. Just how they thought they have a right to have sex with you.
Looking back I realized I have been sexually harassed, a lot. I had a sexual naivete that prevented me from being able to identify or verbalize it. I knew I was uncomfortable and I knew why. To compensate I wore baggy clothes, clothes that weren't form fitting, to shield myself from unwanted eyes, stares or gazes. I still experience some of this.
From a child not even my father respected my boundaries so I work on that today. I hope this helps you or someone.
I don't believe in ruining a man's work or career for nothing but women have to stand up for themselves.

Life changed when I realized I AM, whether I make $10,000 or 1M. More skills, more grace, but the ability is the same.
Rebel Tax
When you think about becoming the first of anything, venturing out, there is a tax. The path not trodden, in a well walked path the grass helps determine your next steps. But for rebels, those who want to be first, you bear the tax of doing so, the bruises, the stones, then you may see breakthrough. Sometimes the breakthrough is for generations following you. If it even matters. To me, It always hope it does. You bear the un-comfortability of squeezing in. Of trying to make space. The lashes. Even if you go extreme, to make space for the people who will only raise hell half as much. I wear it loudly, boldly, obnoxiously so when the “nice”, “timid”, can do it.
