Different people have different tastes. I mean you've got grown men who love watching a show about ponies whose targeted age group is intended for girls age 2 to 11* and you have the more extreme fetishes like people who commission art to have their favourite characters suddenly gain the proportions of a sumo wrestler.

I guess we've just got to accept, that there are those who like things that make others cringe inside.

* I'm not bashing MLP fans, I'm just using that as an example.

Something I hate about Mass Effect fanfics

Why is it that every fic I read involving Kaidan/Ashley shouting at Shepard on Horizon, Shepard becomes like a scared child before their anger or they become more angstier than Cloud from Final Fantasy in the aftermath.

Why can't there be one where Shepard takes it in stride and goes 'Fuck them', or at least give them a piece of their own medicine.
