For textures I don't like my first line of defense is always to cover it in a nice smooth texture - TAPE MY BELOVED.
I have no clue why I am like this. My working theory is that when I was really young I used to put everything in my mouth until one day I did that with a water proof jacket and it formed some kind of neural pathway. For when I hear the sound of people touching the fabric maybe it's mirror neurons?
Other Items on my shit list:
whatever they use to make cheap pencil pouches ( the kind that plagued my elementary school years)
2D hologram things that change the picture when you turn it from side to side
sometimes the fabrics in seatbelts ( don't worry I still wear them)
Also, sorry about the muted colors I used for this comic, I didn't realize I did that until I was finished with it.

My least favorite season is fall and winter.
Everyone wears those damn water proof winter jackets. When I TOUCH that fabric I can feel the texture in my mouth. When I HEAR the sound the fabric makes when it brushes against itself, I can feel it in my mouth. Shopping is near impossible for any snow gear.
Employee: can I help you sir?
Me: Do you have water proof jackets made out of soft, absorbent material?
Worst of all, every time I try to describe this sensation people think I'm nuts.
There are other textures I can feel in my mouth like some rough book covers, but that can be mitigated by covering it in that nice clear packaging tape (that's a very nice texture so smooth)
