Epic: The Musical Characters as Circus Artists

I'm an aerialist and have been listening to the soundtrack a lot lately and imagining aerial routines so here have my thoughts. I'm very tempted to actually choreograph some of these routines in real life as well.

Odysseus - aerial rope, secondary aerial silks

Penelope - aerial rope

Telemachus - aerial silks

Athena - aerial silks

Circe - aerial hoop

Calypso - aerial hammock

Poseidon - aerial straps

Hermes - flying pole

Eurylochus - aerial rope

Polites - aerial silks

Odysseus's Crew - aerial rope, cloud swing

Apollo - static trapeze

Hephaestus - aerial chains

Aphrodite - pole

Ares - aerial straps

Hera - static trapeze

Zeus - aerial rope

Antonius - aerial straps

Sirens - aerial silks, aerial hammock

I imagine Odysseus as being capable of all equipment as many circus artists are and able to adapt and speak the language of those he's dancing with. But being most compatible with Penelope who is also a rope artist.

I like the thought of Athena and Telemachus actually being slightly more compatible than Athena Odysseus.

Aerial rope and aerial silks are very similar and you can do a lot of the same moves on both equipment. But they're visually very different. And they definitely have their unique moves.
