Mafuyu was just pushing snow around with only one paw, she snuck her yarn ball outside, but after playing with it so much in the snow it got all hard and stiff, it was fun to claw at but not as satisfying as when it was all warm and ready to unravel but worst of all her claws had gotten a little frozen into them- it was kind of like a game, to do things with just one paw. It also showed how bored the seal was to think that was some sort of fun.

She heard the scuffle of snow and finally caught his scent on a sniffed of the air but it was too late as the Orca cried leaping out at her. All she could do was give a little shriek and shoot her flipper and claws out to try and stop the Orca from getting a good landing, two sharp little flippers and a stiff yarn ball was all.

Unfortunately for the little seal, the orca calf slipped right in between her arms and tackled her chest to chest. He sent them down onto the ice and rolling, the calf pinning her triumphantly under him. Ha! This was so easy! He chirps and squeaks happily, his fluke pounding the ice like a dog wagging its tail.

But as quickly as he tackled her and pinned her, he got up and even pulled her up too- only to shove her a bit to give her a head start in running if she so chooses to. Practice makes perfect after all~ And how could he possibly practice if he kills her right away?

Mafuyu examined the new form of her flipper, it felt better that’s for sure. She looked at his palm and swung forward with all her little strength. the movement was pretty obviously and a little clumsy but she was decently strong for a seal her age.

The pup must have been a little angry for not getting it right the first time because she didn’t add a little cry and was glaring at the orca now. She wants to be big and tough, serious mode!

Oho~ Quite the cutie, if he does say so himself. He can see the fire in her eyes, the determination to get this correct. This will only do her well in her training.

“Oh, not bad~ Perhaps your mother hasn’t been slacking off as much as I thought.” A final drag is taken from his cig, long and deep, before flicking the barely flickering thing into the distance.

The big looming orca puts his hands on the tiny seal pup, correcting her posture into a proper, sturdy stance before returning to his position of punching bag, holding his palm out once more for her to abuse. “Throwing all your might into a punch without a proper stance will just knock you over. If you fall over, you’re fucked. Punch me until you’re satisfied.”
