for those who might not know, this is a reference to Ned Kelly’s gang, a group of Australian-Irish outlaw badasses who robbed banks, destroyed the tax and loan information inside (thereby saving tons of people from crushing debt) and waged violent war against the Australian-British upper class. The mask he’s wearing is actually a full helm, and his whole crew had matching breastplates and greaves as well - full metal body armor, made in a brush forge from metal plows. Cool as fuck, if you ask me. It also worked and stopped all of the police’s bullets when the four of them went full juggernaut on them.
