There is a saying about wine that I really like and it’s something like this “The first glass of wine is all about the food, the second glass is about love, and the third glass is about mayhem.” I really wanted to see it for myself if that affirmation was in fact true.

Amsterdam-based artist Cedric Laquieze (previously featured here) recently completed a fascinating new series of his exquisite taxidermy Fairies. These delicate sculptures are primarily composed of parts from many different insect species, but if you look closely you’ll notice bones, seeds and even a few scorpion parts as well.

Thoughts

Almost every other night now I would remember my dreams that my subconcious likes to play often, my fears and insecurities. It likes to involve Yogi in them too. This morning I had a dream where I was at some giant social gatherings which Ive never been good at and I see people I know and they ignore me. They talk to their other friends have a great time and Im left on the side wandering and looking for someone to talk to. At the end of if I found no one and by that time Im in tears and running, crying out "Yogi! Yogi!" and then he comes out from a corner and runs to me. I am so in shock, "Is it you?" I check his collar and it was him and he whimpers as I hold him. I wake up right away and now Im really in tears... I dont know how I feel about my dreams lately. Theyve really been making me feel like crap and when they involve Yogi its difficult to forget about it. I just miss him so much...
