❝…Would be-a great if I could read this map,❞ Mario grumbles to himself, twisting it around and around in his hands. His captors had been so nice to give him a map… But didn’t tell him what any of the landmarks meant. He had the map shoved at him and had been basically told “Good luck”. The short man groaned in annoyance - nothing was familiar to him.
Well, it could have been worse, he supposed. The “wards” as they were labeled seemed to be in English. HOWEVER!
He couldn’t tell where the restaurants were. He was hungry. He should have probably eaten something before, but in his defense he didn’t know he would be transported away that day.
❝Can someone tell-a me where I can get something to eat? I can’t make heads or tails of this map. Mamma mia.❞
@blackvwatch liked for a starter.
It isn’t his first time in this city, but it sure is a bit of a shock coming back to a place more strange than familiar. He hadn’t been here too long before heading home once again, and yet...
Jet is reacquainting himself with Spirale while he can, for once not focused on bringing his movie theater back up to speed with things. Instead, it’s better that he learn the city front to back, in case there’s yet another disaster and he has to go out and do something yet again, swear ta god, it’s a constant thing.
And so, he’s standing on a sidewalk when his eye catches a wandering stranger who looks friendly enough, though he also appears to be quite lost. Hopefully the scrap metal sword dangling from his belt doesn’t look too concerning as he approaches in time to overhear the mutterings.
“You trying to figure out where everything is, too?” Jet’s voice is a little gruff, but he’s just like that. “I haven’t been here long, but I can read the map for you, see what’s closest.”
