We Have M O V E D

As of this previous weekend, both this blog and my sideblog now have started over and brand new blogs now that I have my muse back! I decided while struggling to login back here whether to make this leap, but I have decided that this is for the best. For any that are curious, this blog’s activity will now continue at @slayersarrow while @sothelegendistrue will continue at @fatalfirstimpact. This place has held lots of dear memories with it being the first time I felt such laughter and imagination in the tumblr world of rping, and I can only hope that the adventure will continue on. Thanks for all that have been a part of this blog’s adventurtes! :D

She smiled a bit, though there was a doubtful look in her eyes as she leaned back in her seat.

“Though... I think I’m fine with staying as a bachelorette. It’s not like I need to find companionship.”

the question hold mirth within her tone. such wonder it must be that humans find so little time to sit and rest. always must they work; always must they move. though tauriel has never truly felt the need to sit long herself, she does know when something must be given time to HEAL.

“Dread,” she said honestly, though she gave a grin before glancing at her wound again. “And... I know he would understand... He says I don’t rest enough.”

Aside from taking time to eat meals or rest for the night, she hardly has been staying idle as of late. How can she? The people of Laketown practically have to build Dale from the ground up thanks to the years of ruin and neglect to this city. With this fast approaching winter, time is of the essence.

“But I can handle more work than most. So I’m not looking forward to any setbacks.”

The little girl wants to return the smile, but it is a rather weak attempt. She does not feel her best this day and is not yet able to hide her feelings from those around her. She quickly glances towards the sky, wondering if it really is late. Has she been gone too long? Have the others been worried? Tilda hopes not, for worrying those she cares about is never something she wishes to do.

“I am sorry if you had to come all this way, just because of me. I quite like this place though. It is silent. I can hear myself think out here.”

She did not feel like seeing Sefa and Raggi, her closest friends since she can remember. For they have changed, the way they treat her is different now and she does not like it at all. Everyone has changed after the terrible things that have happened to them, but her friends… They were so close, almost like siblings, and now they act as if she was this new person. This different and more important person she does not want to be.

“I felt like being alone today.” Slowly Tilda steps forward, towards Lara, and further away from her hiding spot. “I don’t think the other children really want to play with me. I can go back with you, if you wish. I did not intend to stay away so long.”

She may not have much intuition when it comes to detecting the emotions of others, but she did feel certain that Tilda is feeling down today as she furrowed her brow a bit. She did not keep to herself like this often, away from her family or friends. She wondered if she should try to see what has been troubling her, a role that is no doubt better suited to her siblings or father.

“I guess this place has gotten quite rowdy lately... Then again we still are receiving newcomers here.”

More and more people keep coming to this city, to see its reconstruction with their own eyes and to find opportunities here with the potential wealth that it can bring like it once had many years ago. Of course it brought a bit more stress with dealing with people who haven’t lived through the struggles they had, but to Lara it was a sign that they were getting closer to seeing this place restored and flourishing. Though it seems that perhaps she was a bit too invested in imagining the future when there are still things that she should pay more attention to in the present.

“... Do you wish to... talk about anything?” she asked, head tilting a bit as concern was clear in her eyes. “We can still wait a while before heading back.”
