The Irelia in my head is a very well developed character from my askblog so when characters she's had friendships with elsewhere say they don't know her it really surprises my muse and makes it hard to respond ahahah.

What do you mean you were going mad just talking to me? Come on, I'm nothing but exciting to be around!
"Sometimes too exciting". Irelia smiled at Wukong. "Remember the time you riled up every bird in my aviary? I was bandaging your face for hours."
a chat outside the institute. (FIELDS OF JUSTICE OPEN RP.)
Nautilus had always spent his time around the Institute of war.
Clunk. Clunk. Clunk.
The sound of the heavy diving suit colliding with the floors outside the Institute repeated over and over again. Nautilus was pacing about, thinking to himself. It was all he had to do. Occasionally he did work or any favors for people of the Institute itself. At least he had his strength⊠But there was no one needing any help today.
It was boring, to say the least.
He always looked on as people went by, almost envious. After all, they were just regular people. Not a regular person forever trapped in a six foot three inch diving suit composed of somewhat rusted iron.
He paced around, anchor positioned on his shoulder, carrying it in one hand with ease. Nautilus soon noticed a sound.
Footsteps.
Footsteps with an accompanying shadow. The titan didnât turn around to greet his visitor. He merely spoke out, expecting a response in return.
âHello. Whoâs there?â
Nautilus had noticed her approach, he greeted her, so she responded in kind to let him know she had no ill will, "Hello, Nautilus." She remembered about how Nautilus told her he had no hobbies and wondered to herself how he dealt with the day.
She had not been seeking out Nautilus, but instead wandering in order to clear her mind, often like she did at home in Ionia in the halls of the Placidium. She'd always seen Nautilus around the halls of the Institute, as if he never traveled anywhere else-- thought it was understandable as to the why of that train of thought.
"Are you doing well, Nautilus?" The question was almost rhetorical, it was simply small talk to the Ionian. It would not bother Irelia in the slightest if he chose to ignore it.

Irelia, I have heard much about you." Leona smiled. "Where do you come from?"
Irelia had to school her face from the most dumbfounded expression ever. There was no way Leona didn't know where Irelia was from. The concept was just... shocking to her. If Leona had heard so much about her, how DIDN'T she know.
Irelia clenched her jaw, but replaced it with a smile. "I'm from Ionia," she replied curtly, "I'm the captain of the Ionian Guard."

In Irelia's Mind (NON-RP)
Cross-posted from my askblog, a little insight into the fact Irelia's blades talk to her.
---
There was a little-known fact about Ioniaâs famed Guard Captain. It wasnât anything that changed her performance, but it was something that caused many people to wonder just was goes on in her head.
Sometimes her men will pass her office and see her just sitting at her desk, hands crossed in front of her with the sourest expression on her face. Sometimes she glares acidic holes in her desk, other times it looks like sheâs combating hemorrhoids. The guardsmen chalked it up to stress, nerves, overwork, and other mundane things like that because Irelia was prone to such things.
But was it, really?
Irelia heard four more voices than was considered normal, but she wasnât crazy. A scraping sound in her mind like the strained belly laugh of a chainsaw echoed,
âAre you sure youâre not crazy, honey?â
Irelia snorted at the humming voice in her mind, shooting a glare to the blades relaxing on the side of her desk.
People often thought that the Will of the Blades was so admirable, so glamorous. Those people didnât have to deal with four talking weapons on a daily basis.
âI just love how supportive you are of me.â She grumbled to the blades, causing laughter to erupt from them (the beautiful cacophony that is four shrieking violins and an armor rack that was knocked over).Â
Training her men, battling on the Fields, eating dinner, spending time with friends, all experiences in her life have been accented with four metallic voices since the day Soraka saved her life.
âTalking blades, whoâdâve guessed?â She mused, flicking through some paperwork. âYou know, sorcerers used to try very hard to imbue intelligent souls into weapons. They never tried dying and using the weapons as a soul anchor, did they? Works like a charm, but you are all still dumber than a stack of rocks.â
One of the blades snorted at her, something impossible for an object with neither a nose nor a mouth, but so it was.
Talon chuckled, watching the mystic blades. "Some of us were never lucky enough to be allowed the privilege of being peaceful citizens." Talon thought back on his past, growing up in the back alleys where he was forced to kill and steal to survive. It almost made him angry at those who thought they knew what it meant to be warriors after being pampered by family and trained by government and not death.
Irelia's nails dug red crescents into her palm as she clenched her fist. It was tactless, tasteless reasons like this that made her stomach churn when she thought of Noxians. She gave Talon an acidic smile, "Some of us really wouldn't, would we?" Her mind gave visions of the streets of small farming hamlets burning down, children orphaned on the sides of the road crying for their parents who were trapped in the fires. The crunch of jackboots on Ionian soil, the hiss of a poison gas bomb, metal on metal, fires, blood, these visions were all fresh on her mind; fresher than her death at the hand of Noxian black magic.
"Maybe we have all had our fair taste of bitter metal. Some more than others." Oh, what will it took for the Guard Captain to keep her composure and not bare her teeth at the assassin. She kept her face calm, only betraying herself with her hands and blades.
"Is there a reason you came to me, or were you only wishing to greet me?" These final words were given smoothly, flowing like Ionia's cleanest streams. Irelia wanted him out of her sight, she did not plan to converse with Noxians unless all of the speaking was done by her blades.
Wukongâs grin dropped. Picking fruit? But thatâs work! I thought you wanted me to do something exciting, like fight off a monster. Wukong scratched the back of his head, grumbling under his breath. Yeah, yeah, Iâll help you, but only because youâre offering some of those peaches as a reward. Wukong brushed by Irelia, snagging an empty wicker basket along the way.
Irelia laughed and followed the Monkey King. "Believe me, Wukong, if I were having you fight a monster for me I would not be asking you in person. You know it's my job to be on the front lines." Irelia took one of the baskets for herself, calling over to Wukong, "If you find rotted or wormy fruit, feel free to do whatever you would like with it. I usually just give them to the livestock. There's a few buckets around here for the inedible fruit. If you fill a basket, leave it by the shed and grab an empty one."
Irelia quirked an eyebrow at the Noxian's blatant friendliness. She bit back a chiding remark and returned a shorter, less formal bow to Talon. Despite Talon's... obvious pleasure at meeting her, Irelia was much less excited to be face to face with a Noxian. As if on cue, her blades gave an irritated flip at her left, betraying her well-schooled emotions. "Yes..." Her response was deliberate as she watched Talon wearily. "We never really can, can we? But sometimes I feel the world has an abundance of fighters. It's a shame fighters have to be made of peaceful folk." Her tone betrayed none of the condescending emotion that powered her remark. The fact Talon would say something like that disgusted her, and even further that he would tread on grounds to leave a flattering compliment. She called her blades into a more relaxed position, folded on top of one another so they would not further give away her internal feelings. They gave an irritated hum to their wielder and a final twirl, but complied.
Wukong glanced over at Irelia. Peaches? His interest was piqued. Wukong hopped down from the rock, standing in front of the captain. And what can the Monkey King do you for you, Irelia? If those succulent pieces of fruit are involved, Iâll do anything, hehe.
Irelia smiled, a triumphant glint in her eyes. "It's picking season and the workers I usually hire to help me have been hired to help fields elsewhere. My other friends are busy... but you never seem to be." She gestured with her thumb over her shoulder at her family's estate and her 'garden' behind it.
"You can earn your take of the fruit my helping me harvest it before it all rots."
*You hear a soothing but powerful melody followed by the presence of myself. Suddenly, though your mind you hear the words, "Welcome, Miss Irelia. It is truly an honor to meet you after hearing your tale from Miss Soraka. Please don't be shy, I'm always here to support!" I walk away smiling, giving off a cheery aura. As I leave your mind no longer feels any words.
Irelia skirted a polite bow to Sona as she approached, giving her a slight smile. She found Sona's voice no different from communicating with a summoner and found it rather relaxing.
"Thank you, and the honor is all mine, believe me. My story doesn't make me any more special than you might think, but thank you. Your support is always greatly appreciated"
