Okay, but can we talk about how elegant Wyll is? And how poetic (and romantic) it is that he's dancing by the firelight?

I think when people dismiss wyll as being the Normal Guy companion they are overlooking a key piece of his character which is that yeah he's pretty normal in comparison to the rest of these messes but have u considered how much Effort it would take to stay that normal while putting up with mizora every day of your life. This guy isn't normal because he's boring, he's normal because he has moral fortitude rivaling that of every god. The fact that he's still so normal after what 9 years of being trapped in an insane psychosexual torment nexus is a HEROIC ACHIEVEMENT. This one will only make sense to the disco elysium fans out there but Wyll's volition stat is through the fucking roof. Nothing can shake this guy and it's not through luck or chance it is through more strength of character than any other person ever born. Wyll ravengard u will always be famous

He IS adorable! I mean, he blushes when he thinks about the kiss you two shared, his palms get all sweaty meeting one of his heroes (Minsc), he's so elegant when he's dancing, he's so cute around the tiefling kids (inspiring them, helping them sword-fight), he meows at Sorcerer! Tav in the sussur flower scene... He's just sooooo cute I could die. (Also a fun thing since I know you ship Gale and Wyll, but Gale has the option of "quacking" during that Sorcerer! Tav scene, and it just cracks me up that both of these two will make animal noises if they feel the occasion suits it)

Mizora sucks ass and she should be treated with the same contempt that Cazador is by both canon and the fandom, but her abuse is minimised because she's a hot gaslight girlboss, not a so-close-to-racist-Asian-stereotype (remember when Cazador had a moustache?), and her victim is a black man and people's sympathy evaporates when they have to apply it to a black character.

I started a new BG3 playthrough, this time as Origin Wyll. I wasn't sure who I was gonna romance (Karlach was a good contender).

I made it to the Weave channeling conversation in record time, y'all. i haven't even made it to the Blighted Village.

Wyll's response to "Picture harmony as true as you can" being "sparring with my father as a child." So cute. But yes, this is a very wholesome romance. Like they're both such good guys who approve of heroic acts and stuff, so it makes sense that they'd develop rapport quickly and probably romantic feelings. :D

Wyll: From what I've seen, your talents extend well beyond magic. Trust me - you'll be fine. (Wyll says this line of dialogue in response to a Sorcerer Tav who is being drained by the Sussur Flower) But IMAGINE. Just imagine, Wyll saying this to GALE. Gale "Magic is my life" Dekarios - Gale who talks about how "To know that you love me for the man that I am rather than the magic I possess - none have loved me so purely before." Gale, a wizarding child prodigy, who likely has never seen much value in himself outside of magic, especially during and after his relationship with Mystra. Imagine how surprised he would be. Imagine how he would feel.
