I got a call this morning...
...Understudy. Which means I'll be pulling double duty, as a member of the 'teen' chorus during most performances, plus learning ALL of Conrad Birdie's lines and songs and blocking.
It's a good thing next week is the last week of school -- I think my summer's probably going to be a pretty busy one.
I could teach you the moves. It would be amusing to be shorter than you for the first time ever. I might get an idea of how it feels to be you.
I would say something about big things coming in small packages, but I think that might just be a little TOO easy for you to turn into an innuendo, ha.
If I get this part, though? You're on.

I got a call early this morning to come in for a chemistry read tomorrow, so I suppose I've still got a chance at this role. (Apparently the director went to Cabo for the week leading up to Memorial Day, and casting was put on hold for a few days. Who knew?)
There's not much I can do to prepare for a chemistry read, though, so I guess I'll just -- keep my fingers crossed?

I’m just busy with studying for this diploma and working of course. This weekend I’m off from work and I think I might use it to go back to Colorado and clear my apartment over there.

She won't change her mind, not if she has any sense at all. I did, I'm just waiting to hear something now. It's been a week now, so if I'm going to hear any good news at all, hopefully it'll be soon...
So, Gunther decided he needed to update the menu at the diner, and one of the girls told him that I was decent with a camera. Some freaky bridezilla loved “the, like, totally antique vibe” that my picture of the skyline had, and apparently wants me to do her wedding pictures. I would’ve said no, but she’s paying me an insane amount of money. Apparently I’m a wedding photographer now.
That's fantastic, Santana! That sounds like a pretty cool way to test out if you'd like to do something similar for a career, and make some money while you're at it. When's the wedding, out of curiosity?

Um. A bit narcissistic and hedonistic, kind of a parody of Elvis and Conway Twitty way back in the day. He's pretty much supposed to be a little ridiculous, in the girls-fainting-at-his-feet kind of way, so we'll see if they think I can pull that off.

Years after I’ve been sitting in a classroom I have that idea of getting my High School equivalency diploma, so I can go to College… Even though I’ve no idea what I should study at college then.
