The Fairytale’s Over → Klaine
Who: Kurt Hummel & Blaine Anderson
Where: The Palace
When: October 30th
What: Chaos ensues during a Halloween masquerade.
KURT HUMMEL
Kurt was happy when Blaine agreed to a dance and he laughed softly, “Five minutes. You can even countdown if you want.” He teased, smiling as he took his hand and moved to rest his other on Blaine’s shoulder while Blaine’s wet around his waist. “Honey, relax. I can see you’re still a bit nervous. Everything is absolutely fine. Rachel is with Sam, so the only kind of trouble he can get in to, well…it’d be something I don’t think he’d be okay with you stopping.” He teased, grinning cheekily at him. There’s guards all over and everyone is smiling and having a good time. You’re a guard, yes. But you’re a person too. You’re a citizen of this town and of this kingdom and you deserve to have fun just as much as everyone else. So just..relax for a few minutes, okay?”
He nodded at the question Blaine had asked beforehand and hummed a bit, “I am. I’ve always enjoyed the parties the palace holds and this is no exception. And now…” He shifted a bit closer, his smile softening as they continued to sway and move around with everyone else, “Now it’s even better.”
BLAINE ANDERSON
Blaine chuckled at the teasing, shaking his head as they moved onto the dance floor. He knew that any time together would shoot past at the speed of light and before he knew it he’d have to get back to business, so he really should make the most of these precious moments. It wasn’t like they had numerous opportunities to actually do couple things like this. “I know, I know.” He released a long breath, forcing his shoulders to drop some of the tension within them. “Relaxing. I’m relaxing.” He leant forwards, resting his chin on Kurt’s shoulder for a moment, turning his face into the other man’s neck.
“Good.” He hummed, his arms tightening ever so slightly around Kurt’s waist as they moved to the beat of the music. No one spared them a glance, everyone was too caught up in their own little worlds to worry about anyone else around them. Finally the music came to a close and Blaine regretfully pulled away, “I think that five minutes is over, but maybe we can grab another dance later on? If I can be super corny, maybe save the last dance for me?” He grinned, letting his hands finally drop from around Kurt’s waist, squeezing Kurt’s hand briefly.
