I genuinely think we as a FNDM often forget just how bonkers fast RWBY characters are. The reason we don’t perceive it that way is because they are usually fighting other, equally fast people. 

But the second they’re fighting something that perceives the world at and moves at regular speeds, you’re basically just getting flashes an instant before you’re taken down and that’s if you’re lucky.
