Should I give up?
9 months.. 9 months since I became a fan of this band called “IV OF SPADES” and.. 7 months since I had a fan account or let's just say since I started tweeting about them every damn day. At first, the fandom was hella fine. They were very welcoming and kind, until.. a lot of struggles passed by—most especially when the lead vocalist left the band. It became toxic. Yes, it is true. We became a toxic fandom—maybe we can't just accept it but, it is true. I felt it, I felt it with on my own. And it's just sad that I did my best to defend our fandom before but I guess, I couldn't make it anymore.
People from this fandom are kinda nice, but.. well, I don't know. It's really hard to speak up. They won't respect each other's opinion, they only care about themselves. Oh, wait.. I didn't post this note to ruin IV Of Spades' fandom. I posted this just to express my feelings. Okay, back at it. Sometimes, they are unfair. They will only appreciate those big accounts, but not those small accounts. They will make you feel that they are entitled and they do not need to fucking know you, more like they would tell that you guys are already mutuals but the fact is.. they only need you to gain another bunch of followers. There are a lot of negativity in this fandom. I don't know if I can still manage it.
Should I give up? Or should I just continue?
Whatever may happen, I love IV Of Spades. I love Blaster, Badjao and Zild. I also don't know if I still love Unique? The former lead vocalist? Haha.
