this blog is currently going through a rough and slow, tedious, awful, and any other horrible, awful adjective you can describe, clean-up. i haven't posted much here throughout the years, mostly using it as inspo catharsis for a reblog or two here or there. i'm moving (again, sorry) the reblogs to the actual sideblog, and finally dumping all my art here. through it all, specifically, i'm looking to get in the genuine habit of posting without too much thought.
i'm nineteen years young, infj on the meyers-briggs test stuff, 4w5 on whatever the hell that means, any pronounce babey, and honestly...? really fucking cool. i go to college for psychology, so art – all those things, take a backseat during those awful winter and spring months. i often describe myself as a jester with roots in pure thugging, with an audience of mostly... also me.
i like things, and i like posting about these things... and honestly, just shooting the shit with whatever comes to mind.

random tags are just thoughts on a post obv! i do occasionally speak the mind... and post. which is painstakingly, currently being taken from the stuff i shared on other platforms within the last four years.
hijacking this thanks bruh. it's kinda cool to see how diff fandoms change the people who reside in them, both on like, a social basis and an artistic basis. from the many people i've talked to b4 about fandom stuff i've heard stories of people just getting straight up GANKED for some esoteric avenue of artistic expression, whether that be of content and/or execution. almost every single low-self esteem having artist i've had the chance to talk to has its roots in bad experiences in a different fandom when they were younger relating to their art and how they perceive it, a level of "not good enough" for one reason or another that keeps their goals unattainable by virtue. social media and all the numbers game shit in general makes it really easy to warp a more malleable person's mind around making that number big as fuuuuck instead of like, improving, or having fun.
but also, seeing those fandom imprints on a mechanical level is really cool too! i see this a lot especially in fandom art w/ a focus on non-humanoid characters: see like, any object show, warrior cats, wings of fire, etc etc. these types of fandoms hyper-spec into a very specific subset of art and art fundamentals at large that shifts what said person learns in the process of becoming a more developed artist. maybe this one artist is really really cracked at color theory and shapes and then u ask them to draw a human torso and they get boomed, or this other artist is insane at drawings hands and then doesn't know what rule of thirds is or whatever. when people branch out of their comfort zone for the first time it's always fun to see what someone makes, like askin a indie rock band to start playing ska.
