Is there a posting schedule?
At minimum, I’ll post an update every Tuesday at 4PM EST :) This schedule may change though! It mainly depends on how many moons / panels I have ready to go.
What is this blog?
The story on this blog is based on events that have been generated by the Python-based game ClanGen - a Warrior Cats fan game in which you can play with a clan of your own. I basically take events generated in this game and turn them into a story. Also they’re wyverns instead of cats because I wanted to do a bit of a twist (and also because I like dragons and wyverns a lot HEHE)
I play ClanGen using Sel’s MegaMerge.
What is Sel’s MegaMerge?
Sel’s MegaMerge is a ‘modpack’ of sorts for ClanGen - it includes addons to the original game such as expanded personalities, name prefix/suffixes, more statuses, new patrols and more. There are also GeneMod and LifeGen versions of Sel’s MegaMerge available for download.
I’d recommend giving Sel’s MegaMerge a gander on the GitHub page if you’re unfamiliar with its contents.
How do I play Sel’s MegaMerge?
This modpack is completely standalone, which means all you have to do is click on the GitHub page linked above, select the version you want under "Releases" on the bottom right of the page, and download the file that corresponds to your computer. No extra tutorials required! It’s really that easy.

Nope :V I tried reading it a while back but couldn’t really get into it. If my art looks like the WoF artstyle at all it’s purely coincidental I assure you

fun fact about this moon: wiltwing had a stomachache so bad it broke the code and kept crashing my game. by the time i finally fixed what was going on the game gave the name cinderkit to one of the kits. i kept it bc it was funny

i didn't expect so many people to vote on the poll to put it on comicfury, lol. most of you said yes so i went ahead and put up a site for blazingclan here. this will be linked on the pinned post as well! some of the images are too large for comicfury atm but i should have everything up to where we are currently at ready to go by the end of today
also as a heads up: upload schedule isn't really going to be affected by this, but im going to try to keep updates to a single moon from now on. moons will still go up tuesdays 4pm. in terms of where i'm at right now, i'm up to moon 41 in-game and am two moons away from finishing the illustrations for moon 40. these should (hopefully) be finished soon, i've been trying to hold myself accountable to drawing at least once a day, lol.
one last thing - thank you to everyone who voted on the poll & has followed me since starting this blog! im really grateful for the feedback & am excited to get the momentum on this project going, as this is my first sort of foray into comics and i'm still trying to get my footing for writing & panel structure down. this has been a super fun project to work on thus far and i am excited to continue it. i'll be trying to open the door for more character specific questions as we progress further into blazingclan and start to establish more story :)

hey soo let's spread some positivity. i was gonna make a rant post about something i saw, but that's not helpful. so.
your clangen blog is worth it. whether it's one of the first blogs people think of when they browse the tag, or it has no followers at all. your passion project is worth it.
your art, your writing, your storytelling, it's worth it. promise.
fun fact about shadowtalon and web specifically: both of these characters originally generated with the doberman pelt. i changed it for both of them for different reasons
for shadowtalon, i changed it from doberman to a solid color because i had a really hard time drawing him with his doberman pelt (especially considering that he is already supposed to be a very dark grey base color). see below for comparison of his apprentice and warrior sprites
and for web, the sprite kinda explains it because it just looks. weird??? doberman did not translate well at all but that's also kinda par for the course with megamerge sprites since they can get pretty crazy. i just didn't like this combination much though. i changed his pelt to dalmatian and he just looks so much nicer with it :) see below for comparison
