Waking up on a whole new planet wasn’t something you could ever prepare for. New smells, dangers, climate. The sun beat down on you, snarling and treading through a forest that seemed never-ending. When you finally find a water source, you sit down, thankful to take a break and get a sip of cold water.
A roar cuts through the forest, your head whips around as a woman is thrown out of the brush. Her leg is tore off, she’s crying and crawling, to where you’re not sure. She doesn’t notice you but that’s because the 8 ft something creature that emerges out after her lets out another noise, this one more like a chitter using the small tusks near its mouth. You take this as your cue to get the fuck out but when you turn to sprint you are met with a second creature. This one is definitely bigger than the other with animal skulls dangling from his dread lock like hair. You lock eyes, your back already hunching over, Kagune ready to come out. He lunges, but you’re quicker than a human, and he clearly hasn’t meant your kind before or he definitely would’ve been ready for when you dash past him. The forest goes by in a whirl, your Kagune has come out, catching on trees and branches to propel you faster through the forest, it’s made you more a target, your sure. The blood drips down your back, you can hear the creature roar.
You’ll be more of a challenge Vo’Tyk decides. A worthy one.
