he  meandered  through  the  small  and  very  cluttered  bookstore,  shuffling  through  every  single  messy  shelf,  tucking  novel  after  novel  safely  under  his  arm  until  he  couldn't  carry  even  one  more.  his  gaze  shifted  to  the  person  standing  nearby.  “eight  books  isn't  too  many,  right  ?"  a  small quirk  of  his  lips.  “in  fact,  some  might  say  it's  not  enough  !”

the  brunette's  eyes  scanned  the  romantasy  section  of  the  beloved  book  store  she  found  herself  in  quite  often  .  tik  tok  had  told  her  of  a  new  book  she  had  to  read  ,  so  she  had  to  run  to  casa  azzura  to  find  it  clearly  .   her  attention  was  diverted  when  a  voice  was  speaking  to  her  ,  “  depends.  are  you  actually  going  to  read  all  eight...  or  are  three  of  them  just  coming  home  to  make  your  bookshelf  look  more  …  performative  ?  ”  caria  teases  .

caria  lets  out  a  laugh  ,  ignoring  the  male's  request  .  her  eyes  were  scanning  the  other  end  of  the  pool  ,  debating  with  herself  how  long  she  thinks  it  would  take  for  her  freestyle  lap  .  “  oh  ,  you're  being  serious  ?  ”  she  questions  ,  raising  her  brow  .  “  absolutely  not  ,  i'm  not  letting  a  little  race  with  you  mess  with  my  workout  .  ”  a  scoff  falls  from  her  lips  as  she  wipes  a  few  drops  of  water  off  her  face  .  “  even  if  it's  for  a  drink  .  ”

caria  grew  up  in  the  bustling  city  of  nyc  to  her  two  money  hungry  parents  ,  both  trying  to  take  over  nyc  real  estate  one  sale  at  a  time  .  havinig  one  older  brother  ,  she  still  felt  alone  considdering  he  had  flown  away  from  nyc  the  moment  he  graduated  high  school  .  caria  was  enrolled  in  elite  boarding  schools  in  vermont  ,  so  nyc  had  never  become  a  true  home  since  she  was  rarely  home  besides  holidays  .  caria  ended  up  being  pretty  athletic  ,  which  her  parents  had  noticed  and  immediately  enrolled  her  in  every  sports  possible  at  a  young  age.  however  ,  soccer  (football  )   was  the  only  sport  that  truly  stuck  with  her  and  she  was  actually  quite  good  at.  the  boarding  school  she  attended  in  vermont  was  known  for  athlethes  and  she  ended  up  receiving  a  full  ride  to  the  university  of  washington  women's  soccer  program  .  from  there,  she  became  team  captain  and  even  led  her  team  to  a  championship  her  senior  year  .  after  graduating  ,  she  ended  up  playing  a  few  years  in  the  usa  for  pro  women's  team,  but  eventually  got  a  deal  with  as  roma  -  one  of  italy's  professional  women's  teams. eventually  ,  caria  felt  soccer  had  become  her  whole  life  and  after  a  few  unfortunate  injuries  ,  she  decided  to  retire  at  the  age  of  only  28  .  capri  had  always  been  a  second  home  to  caria  ever  since  she  began  playing  in  italy  ,  renting  a  place  there  in  the  off  season  of  soccer  .  she  decided  to  move  there  full-time  after  retiring  and  now  is  a  tour  guide  for  the  lighthouse  ,  trying  to  live  a  much  slower-paced  and  simpler  life  away  from  the  soccer  spot  light.

personality caria  is  a  very  hard-working  gal,  dare  i  say…perfectionist  !  but,  she's  also  a  very  deep  thinker.  she  doesn't  like  to  open  to  anyone,  she'd  rather  hear  other  people's  life  stories  vs  sharing  her  own,  but  she  is  a  fab  listener! when  it  comes  to  any  relationships,  she's  very  loyal  -  never  wanting  to  betray  anyone  she  loves.  romantic  relationships  are  a  bit  tough  for  her  since  she  had  a  public  relationship  with  a  former  athlete  that  just…wasn't  going  well  with  the  publicity,  so  she  can  be  a  bit  avoidant  sometimes…but  she  also  loves  love  and  has  a  deep  hope  she'll  find  it  one  day  somehow  !
