i finally finished a cross-stich of ralsei in his tender loving care outfit! based on this peice by the talented @belleart​ (thanks for giving permission!)

it’s over 17k stitches, but only a small colour pallette. there is actually some variation in the pinks and greys that you can’t see too well (not enough colour distance – bad colour pick) but overall i’m very happy with how it’s come out!

i tried to dye my beige aida using black dylon, but the black didn’t take very well, so it ended up as this dark grey, with some weird splotches that thankfully aren’t very visible. but actually i quite like the grey in the end. next time i will have to try a higher quality (cotton) aida!

not sure what i will do with him now – maybe into a frame or onto a cushion!
