Also i gotta say I kinda relate to mailin there. I was also a late bloomer with a strong personality and I hated being inexperienced bc it made me feel vulnerable if that makes sense. I was terrified of doing something wrong or doing something stupid and I genuinely didn’t feel comfortable doing anything with a person I cared about until I had „tested it out“ with someone who didn’t matter

I agree with what you said. And it aligns perfectly with her activism. She goes too hard for whatever catches her attention and doesn't know how to weigh her temper or involvement. That's why she comes off as radical and over the top. She's just inexperienced, uneducated and can't read the room. Now the pressure about something she really doesn't know anything about.

That's not an excuse for how she treats Finn or her friends sometimes but I can understand where she comes from.

Of course that is not an excuse. She's intense and should be work on this, bc it takes her energy as well. But it's her first love experience that actually she CAN'T control it. Also... The way she compares to Zoe it's a sign of her insecurities :(

To be honest, I don't think Mailin behaviour is out of character. I think it is the way they show how intense is social pressure. Yes, Mailin can be brave, she strongly believes in her ideas, she knows what she wants. But she doesn't have experience, so it doesn't matter how strong are her ideas, bc she wants it like her friends.

If the cashqueens are always talking about sex, it is normal that she could feel that pressure... Bc she feels it is too late or whatever.

Idk it is hard to see, but I can understand her.

i know a lot of people didn't like the development of cashqueens on s6 but it made me believe in their friendship even more

In their first season they got together and went through a honeymoon phase, but then they faced their differences and because they are going through different moments in life individually, they lost a little bit of the harmony that united them (very realistic)

but even with their contrasts and flaws they decided that friendship was above that

this makes me believe that in the future they may even deal with challenges and difficulties but they will still love each other and reconnect

no one is the same, so I believe that true love is when the differences are not above the good feelings that make us believe in our relationships (romantic or friendly)

I love how this wasn't portrayed in an unhealthy way, but just young girls who have some disagreements and are still learning to mature
