Getting the crank rebuilt. Bearings, shims, pins and balanced. Big thanks to Naz.

Put the cases together and got the top end back on. New Pistons and honed cylinders. Time to get the motor back into the frame.

After a lot of elbow grease, a trip to the car wash and some soda blasting. My rd250 cases are finally clean!

Got the last little bits out and the cases are ready to be cleaned. Hmmm how do I do that?

I finally got the rest of the transmission out and ran into a stubborn screw.

Next up is to clean the cases and internal parts. Then wait for the crank to come back from Naz.

I didn’t get a crazy amount of work done last night. I did just enough to get the cases open. I and going to have the crank inspected and get everything cleaned up.
