author’s notes: OK SO sorry for the mini hiatus!!! I won’t abandon this story if you are worried about that—I have too many ideas for it that I want to write and post! Also that would genuinely be so evil to abandon the story after chapter 8 when Ao’nung (and the Metkayina) had only actually been present for like… 3000 words …. out of like 40k backstory/build up 😭😭 Anyway, here is chapter 9! This is the longest chapter of the story so far. Thank you for bearing with me 💝

I don't particularly like it but I spent way too much on this and I got bored of it. Learning perspective and rendering is such a pain but I really wanted to draw them in the academy 🥲.

Also my first time drawing a dog and it was an absolute pain to make, I'm so sorry Fandou 💀
