agitated, alex frowned. “ i’m not tweaking you dumb ass, you know that would get me thrown off the team in like two seconds. i’m not that stupid. ” his tone was probably … meaner than was called for on account of his frustration. but for as over indulgent and risky his behavior was, he did have some lines ; namely the ones that would literally get his ass fired — hence no drugs. at least not anything hard — he compensated by drinking far more than was probably healthy. although the fact she was even asking that was concerning. he ran a hand through his hair, annoyed ( though more at himself than anything ) “ so, as much as i would literally love a smoke to chill out right now, i’ll have to pass. i’ll still join you outside, though. ” that seemed like a reasonable solution, right ? fresh air was supposed to be calming or some shit. “ unless schmoozing in here with all the richy rich invites is somehow your idea of a good time. ” his tone betrayed what he thought of that.

Melina wasn’t really one for holidays, it always felt like she was on show for the rest of the world. Someone make fun of pro-football or something?”
