with the last remnants of golden glitter and tinsel strewn lonely and abandoned across echoing marble floors, and more than its fair share of shattered champagne flutes joining the chaos, thus concludes another riotous saturnalia celebration
and a celebration it was, though its doubtful how many attendees remember it in the morning. drinks were shared — and spilled ; meals were eaten — thrown, and more than one got more than they bargained for at such an esteemed event
the crown jewel of the night was undoubtedly POPPY ROSI — though those on the receiving end of her mischief may not be in agreement. crowned in a glorious event at the end of the night, the trickster was fitted with a golden crown of laurel leaves and a scepter fit for even the most esteemed “ lord of misrule ”
as guests packed into their taxis and respective rides ( some more drunk than others ) all that was left was to reflect — was it a night well spent ? was it a year well spent ?
we wanted to thank everyone for making theikos’ first event such a success ! it was nice to see so many get involved, especially during the busy holiday season, so we hope everyone had as much fun as we did !
