Seek Refuge in Him Always

God — His way is perfect; the word of the Lord is pure. He is a shield to all who take refuge in Him. -Psalms‬ ‭18‬:‭30‬ God tells us to come to Him when we need security and He will be our refuge. But He also tells us to praise Him at all times. So then why do we only come to Him when things are bad? We need to seek refuge in Him through the good and the bad. He is our way. We need to learn to make Him first in everything. We need to remember to seek Him in the valleys and on the mountains. Be blessed ❤️

Let His water Flow Through You

The one who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, will have streams of living water flow from deep within him.” -John‬ ‭7‬:‭38‬ The water that Jesus gives us is living water. When we come to Him, He pours that living water into us so that whenever we pour water into others, it'll be the same water He gives us. This way His water continues to flow from person to person, making us all one. Christ lives and flows through His believers so that He may flow through those we impact. Allow Christ's water to overflow in you and transform you. Be blessed ❤️

Our heart and Flesh fail, God doesn't

My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart, my portion forever. -‭Psalms‬ ‭73‬:‭26‬ When we fail, God is with us. When we are weak, He is our strength. God is more than enough. We don't deserve Him yet He gives Himself fully to us. No matter how much we fail, He will always be with us, loving us unconditionally. Because our heart and flesh may fail, We cannot trust them. We can, however, trust God and trust Him wholeheartedly. We simply have to make the choice and change our lifestyle for Him. Don't be selfish. Don't be jealous.

For where envy and selfish ambition exist, there is disorder and every kind of evil. -James‬ ‭3‬:‭16‬ We shouldn't be selfish or jealous. Those are characteristics God does not want us to possess. When we are jealous or selfish, the devil is pleased but God is not. God is not a selfish God. Yes He wants us all to Himself but that's not selfishness. That is simply love and a desire for us to seek Him. God wants all of us and doesn't want the devil to have any part of us. It's not selfishness it's simply wanting to protect us. We cannot be selfish with anything because nothing of this world is ours. Everything we have we owe to God. Give thanks today. Learn to share. Don't be jealous or selfish. Be blessed ❤️

Control Your Mouth

Praising and cursing come out of the same mouth. My brothers, these things should not be this way. -‭James‬ ‭3‬:‭10‬ Our mouths are powerful. We can both kill and give life to things. We shouldn't be cursing and loving. We should only be loving. Christ was loving. He didn't curse and we shouldn't either. We need to live like Him. We need to have control of our mouths so we don't curse others. Pay attention to your words today and see how much negativity and positivity you speak each day. I guarantee you will notice things you didn't know before. try it. Be blessed ❤️

Confess God, there's so much to Gain

Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God — God remains in him and he in God. -1 John‬ ‭4‬:‭15‬ We must confess God as our Lord and Savior. In doing so, we are saying out loud that He is ours and we are His. We are telling the enemy that God reigns in our life and there is no room for another ruler. We are declaring that we are saved and protected. We are declaring victory, everlasting life, love, faith, and so mucho more. Declare God today. Choose Him. You have nothing to lose but so much to gain. Be blessed ❤️

God Doesn't Belong on the Bench

I have set Jehovah always before me: Because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. -Psalm‬ ‭16‬:‭8‬ Jesus should be first in everything. We always put Him on the bench and call Him when we need Him. He never leaves our side so why should we? Our relationship with Christ has to be a two way thing. If two people don't put in the work, the relationship won't work. God will continue to love us but we also need to love Him. Let's take Christ off the bench once and for all. He is our MVP and should stay that way. He belongs on the field and not on the bench. Take Him off the bench. Be blessed ❤️

He is Our Safe Place

Oh taste and see that Jehovah is good: Blessed is the man that taketh refuge in him. -Psalm‬ ‭34‬:‭8‬ God is good at all times. Even when we don't understand what He is doing. We need to seek Him as our shelter. We run to Him when things are good and when things are bad. He is our ultimate safe place in whom we can rest forever and be at ease. God is our go to place. He should be our number one because man can fail us but He promises He never will. God is a god of promises and He always comes through. Trust Him. Be blessed ❤️

In the Midst of It All, Trust God!

Trust in the LORD always, for the LORD GOD is the eternal Rock. -Isaiah‬ ‭26‬:‭4‬ We trust our family. We trust our friends. We trust guys/girls that betray us. We trust the employees at Walmart. We trust people that make our food. We trust strangers. We trust everyone more than we trust God. Why? Is it because we cannot physically see Him? Or is it because He does mysterious things that we don't yet understand? I think it's both. We allow ourselves to think that because we can't see Him, He isn't real or that because things aren't going perfect, God isn't with us. His mysterious ways are always better than our own. He knows the who, what, when, where, why, and how. He never told us we would understand everything in life. He simply tells us to trust Him and He is in control. Trust God. Be blessed ❤️

God Hates the Sin but Loves the Sinner

The LORD detests the way of the wicked, but he loves those who pursue godliness. -Proverbs‬ ‭15‬:‭9‬ Many believe that God thinks our sin defines us. We are not our sins. God does not hate or dislike is simply because of our sins. He hates the sun, not the sinner. Many believe they are not loved because of their sin. Many homosexuals believe God hates them because of their sin. God dislikes the sin but not the sinner. Many adulterers think God hates them. God hates the sin but not the sinner. Many criminals think God hates them. God hates their sin but not the sinners. God loves us. He simply dislikes our poor choices. We need to understand that. We are trying to speak for God and tell ourselves how He feels when we are wrong. Despite our sins and mistakes, God loves us. He always has and He always will. His love is unchanging and one of a kind. Learn to appreciate that love and strive to be better for that love. God doesn't hate you, He hates the sin. Be blessed ❤️

Let God Teach you How to Love

May the Lord lead your hearts into a full understanding and expression of the love of God and the patient endurance that comes from Christ. -‭2 Thessalonians‬ ‭3‬:‭5‬ Allow God to express His love for you and teach you how to love. How to love your neighbors, your family, yourself, and Him. There is no love that will ever compare to His love but we can try to follow His example and begin to love like He does. Love is about more than just caring for someone deeply. Nothing involves being patient, knowing how to handle the situation, caring deeply, wanted to help, putting others before yourself, and so much more. God's love is so great we cannot grasp the intensity of it. Just allow God to express His love and teach you so you can spread His love to others. Be blessed ❤️

Leave your flesh, Live in the Spirit

As I learn your righteous regulations, I will thank you by living as I should! -Psalms‬ ‭119‬:‭7‬ Yes we are human but God created us to be holy and live like Christ. Yes we are human but we can turn away from human ways. We need to live in the spirit and not the flesh so we may live for God and thank Him for all He's done. God love us either way but we need to show Him how much we love and appreciate Him. It may be difficult to leave our old ways but with God, nothing is impossible. Be blessed ❤️

Seek Eternity. Seek God

Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away. -Matthew‬ ‭24‬:‭35‬ Things of this world will fade but God is forever. His words are true and never ending. The earth changes but God remains the same. He is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. Seek Him for He is forever. He is the source of our everything. When man fails us, God doesn't. When materials fail us, God doesn't. Seek eternity. Seek God. Be blessed ❤️

God Plays Every Role

For a child will be born for us, a son will be given to us, and the government will be on His shoulders. He will be named Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. -‭Isaiah‬ ‭9‬:‭6‬ God is our everything. He is our counselor, doctor, teacher, father, friend, pastor, caretaker, judge, everything. He plays all those roles and many more. He should be our everything yet we turn to man to be those things for us. God has supremacy over everything and everyone. No one can do what He can, yet we believe humans can. Truth is that God is the all supreme God. The one that can do everything. He loves each and everyone one of us and wants us to turn to Him in times of success and struggles. We need to lean on Him and not man. Only He can do what we think is impossible. Trust Him and lean on Him. Be blessed ❤️

Keep Calm and Pray On

Rejoice in hope; be patient in affliction; be persistent in prayer. -‭Romans‬ ‭12‬:‭12‬ Pray persistently. Don't give up. Prayer should be an everyday thing. If should be part of our daily life. Never stop praying. If we have a specific petition, we must keep praying about it and declaring. Every prayer counts and makes a difference. Eventually we will see the fruit of our prayers but we must continue and have faith. Never doubting God or our prayers. He hears our every word and we just have to remember that. Your prayer will be answered in His time. Don't stop. Keep praying for whatever it is you are praying for. Be patient and watch God work. Be blessed ❤️

The Body of Christ

Now I urge you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree in what you say, that there be no divisions among you, and that you be united with the same understanding and the same conviction. -1 Corinthians‬ ‭1‬:‭10‬ We must be in agreement with our brothers and sisters. The body of Christ must work as one. If our body parts didn't work together as one, we would not function properly. The same goes for the body of Christ. When we are in disagreement, the body cannot properly stand or move. We need to be on the same page having different functions to achieve a single purpose. That is to glorify God and give Him praise. We have different gifts and talents but Christ called us to be one. Instead of trying to do things on our own, we need to allow God to lead us so our purpose as a body can be fulfilled. Pray for Others

First of all, then, I urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for everyone, for kings and all those who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity. -1 Timothy‬ ‭2‬:‭1-2 We should pray for everyone and not just ourselves. We should definitely being praying for those in authority. That they may make the right decisions for the people. We tend to have selfish prayers that are all about ourselves. We need to take the time to pray for others. Pray for them before they ask for prayer. Prayer for others shows your heart. God knows our prayers before we say them but when we speak it, it is more powerful than to simply think it. In your prayer today, try to pray for anything and everything except yourself. You’ll realize how different your prayer is and how selfish we tend to pray. Be blessed ❤️
