Greetings! I am your most loyal and devoted Knight, finally making an Elden ring specific tumblr, I'm not going to do any specific besides share my thoughts and arts with the masses here. Sometimes I might do little imagines/headcanons of the characters but it's going to mainly focus on members of the Mohgwyn Dynasty (Mohg, Varré, Ansbach, Formless Mother specific) but if in the mood I might talk about the others. My art is traditional style, maybe I might upgrade to a tablet in the future.

How much weight do you give Varré's mask? I'm always unsure myself but I do see many give it a big deal when he takes it off or a reluctancy to remove it in front of others. Obviously it's a part of his character design and a source of appeal for many being a soft near expressionless face, so taking it off feels like taking off a recognizable part of him.
It's surely meant to be a bit like a plague mask of some type, blocking diseases from being coughed up on their faces? Or it's to prevent them from being "targeted" outside their "work", so they stay faceless and nameless to the public at times?
No matter, I always enjoy any characterization of how others write/approach his mask. My personal is he's fine with others seeing his face, but he gets a bit of a kick out of seeing others bend over backwards and make a big deal out of it. He would tease them about how much they are willing to do just to see it like a reward. Eventually he might show them if they prove themselves worthy. He will also lift it with ease and no big flashy deal. The kicker is he hates leaving it off for too long. He's surprisingly expressive and he's used to people trying to deduce from his body language and words what he really means, that he forgets how easily he gives himself away with his face.
That's my personal take of course and would love to know others thoughts!
I also really roll with the idea of Varre being really expressive under the mask! I tend to headcanon that being a large portion as to why he keeps the mask on all the time, because he really hates the way his face makes him so easy to read. I think he really relishes the way that when you’re unable to see his face, you can never really get a good grasp on his actual thoughts

I think very much in his younger years he wasn't a "trouble maker" per say but he questioned everything. Much like when he is under Miquella's charm he still wants to know what ideals the one he serves has. The Greater will and many other factions do not seek too keen on such behavior, demanding you do not change what has always been, the worse question for such rigid structures is "why". A system that has rules built in stone for thousands of years with no change and pure stagnation will always bring forward those who ask why these rules are set in place and who do they benefit
In my mind that's what attracted himself to the Mohgwyn Dynasty, truth being the main ideal, Mohg never hid his desires or goals from Ansbach. Every detail of bloodshed and sacrifice is given to him, any question asked would always have a reason and purpose rather than "that's how it's always been". Yes it was a long shot, perhaps even impossible to ever make a dynasty to match what has been built already, but it was important to him that he served in an ideal that he believed in.
It's also probably why he still has such mixed feelings with Miquella, an age of kindness is something Mohg sought for those who were shunned away and that's not something that can be built without being truthful to others.
By ask blog head canon style, if I ask sayyyy- how touch avoidant are the demigods? Would you just do Mohg or all? Happy to see another Elden ring blog!

Touch Avoidant is an odd question, I wonder if you meant how they receive/give physical interactions? I'll answer as best I can! These have a romantic aspect to them, and are intended for a gender neutral reader. If this is not what you intended I apologize but I hope you enjoy
Godrick
Giving: He does it unconsciously he swears they have a mind of their own. All those hands tend to wander when you are near him. Sometimes it's gentle caresses on your cheek, others it's a firm unshakable grip of your arm to keep you at his side. There is hardly a time in which he does not have contact with you and those times are when you are not in the same room
Receiving: Depending on his mood simple touches from you are not enough, there is so much of him and so little of you that a simple hand on one his arms isn't enough, you practically need to force yourself against his side just so he knows you are there. Hold a hand, hug an arm, nuzzle against his side. His wish is that you show worship with every bit of contact
Morgott
Giving: You are very rarely going to get anything from him even in a trusted relationship at times. To him his body is cursed, to touch you would be to sully your very soul in his mind. If you are extremely patient and gentle, expect him to tuck hair out of your face while you sleep. His tail flicks with hesitation as his thumb caresses the backside of your hand. If you make any sudden movements, he pulls away in a flash unwilling to continue for the time being
Receiving: He is anything but still as a statue in your touch. You would think he is afraid of crumbling in your hold. It truly takes everything in him not to melt into your hands as you feel the weight of his face. Never touch his tail without warning of course, but feel free to hold his calloused palms. Watch as his eyes switch between bliss and focus, he fears that if he relaxes too much he might wake from his dream as nothing this good lasts forever.
Rykard
Giving: Even before the form that you know of, you would feel by his hands how much it feels like he wishes to devour you. In public settings his hands rest upon your back, fingers feeling for each shift of muscle as you move. Resting his face in the crook of your neck as he listens to your heart race. Post transformation, expect Lady Tanith to be an extension of his desires as she clings to your side just the same as he once did.
Receiving: He would very much enjoy having you groom his beard if we are being honest. Anything you throw at him is fine as he usually matches your affections with ease. What he truly desires is touch that serves a purpose. Something that shows your attraction is not just skin deep, you serve more than just something that could be found with any warm body.
Radahn
Giving: You know how big dogs forget that they're no longer little puppies? He forgets he cannot rough house with others like he once could. Still with enough spells and flask anything is possible. His ideal is to be able to tussle and spar with another, then look fondly upon the marks left after. He holds you close to his side in hugs that make your ribs creak. Everything about him is large and that includes his affections.
Receiving: You must be very firm with him, I mean that literally. A solid massage would have him melting in any position including standing up. Squeezing the tension from his arms would give him a pleased smile one would think he would start purring. He's all muscle and probably thrice your size so you have a lot to work with. Be careful though, as if he becomes too relaxed and falls asleep on you there is no escaping from his iron grip
Miquella(adult/ascended)
Giving: The softest touch of the kindly miquella charms many intentional or not. Living up to the term Tender, his fingers trace the shape of your face, hands run down your arms to hold your hands for what seem like hours. He embraces you in such a way that feels between suffocating and like a breath of fresh air you'd never known. You never know if you're under his sway or if his touch is just that sweet as to capture your heart.
Receiving: Oddly almost aloof in comparison. You never feel like you could touch him first without him engaging first. One has to mimic his affections back in the same pattern, lest he becomes distant with his affections. He's enigmatic at first but you will be able to pick up what he wants with time. From there you fall into a rhythm knowing when to properly seek him out when you wish to show him your love back
Ranni
Giving: Extremely distant but not on purpose. Her affections aren't usually shown physically, not that she doesn't want to, butwith her body being the way it is, it takes far too much energy to move it for long periods of time. The best she can offer is sitting close and having one hand rest on top of one of yours. You can feel a ghost of a kiss if you lean in close enough to her face. Fear not her feelings do not waver, she just expresses herself in other ways that are not physical, she hopes that you understand.
Receiving: Having a doll body, she can not feel your touch in the same way others might, but don't be disheartened! She sees the way you hug her tightly, the warmth of your lips on her hand. Giving her physical affection isn't about the sensation, but more so the acknowledgement that you adore her no matter what. Feel free to do as you wish, but she might tease you for having too much fun
Mogh
Giving: It's hot and cold with him surprisingly. You can feel suffocated with something that borders on possession, you are a good thing in his life he hoards. His talons that test the durability of your garb constantly as he holds you close to his chest. Other times it seems like he is unsure how to even approach you. His entire body has gnarled horns, fangs bigger than your fingers. Even at his most gentle he knows that it will hurt you no matter what, the question is if you can endure it for him alone.
Receiving: As expected he's more receptive to pain than pleasure, hissing sweetly as you offer his pain to the Formless Mother. Still he is always surprised by your soft touch, Your smaller hands make him purr as they scratch in the crevices between his horns. Help preen his wings or bite his hand, he doesn't care as long as you are making contact with him, you aren't driven away by his very being.
Messmer
Giving: His snakes do more of the touching than he does, like a few others viewing his body as cursed he avoids touching you for a while despite his feelings. Still it's easy to tell he is fond of you the way the red serpents wedge themselves against your warmth just as easily. He's mortified with himself until you coax him into being comfortable with it
Receiving: It's best to approach him when he's tired or attempting to rest. He does not enjoy any affection outside of the privacy of his chambers. So when he finally rests his head, let him do so on your lap, run your fingers through his locks as his eye flutters shut. His arms will wrap tightly around you in his sleep which means you are doing a good job
Godwyn
Giving: I can't help but think of him with an infectious yet sweet type of affection. He slaps your shoulder while laughing, pinches your cheeks when scolding playfully, bumps shoulders while walking together. Everyone fell in love with him so easily and it's not hard to see why, interlocking your fingers together while just walking together, his touch makes you feel like you've been lovers for a lifetime
Receiving: It's hard to match him, and he almost prefers if you don't. He wants to be the one that makes you swoon and get shy around others. He can control the situation that way. Still if you are able to catch him off his game by doing something just as romantic, you can tell it shifts your dynamic, perhaps to one where he can tell you are not simply starstruck by him like others most often are.
Malenia
Giving: Unfortunately she does avoid touching you even with the many scarlet rot prevention measures put in place. She is one who shows her affection with acts of service, with her alloyed prosthesis she might allow a moment to indulge. She Imagines running her hand over your head, that she might feel the texture of your scalp. She avoids it as it just worsens her longing
Receiving: If she doesn't pull away or scold you consider yourself quite lucky. She's perfectly still even with you leaning against her side, the weight of your body reminding her you are very real. She usually gets overwhelmed very easily with touch so be very slow with her as to not scare her off.
With Mohg's in game voice lines there is very little to go off of tragically, but it is funny that he talks very softly to Miquella before addressing the Tarnished with a increased rasp/rumble almost forcing his voice to be louder and deeper
So instead of the normal "this is the voice actor trying to meet a deeper threshold" idea...
I just think Mohg is normally soft spoken/doesn't talk much preferring to listen at times. Most seems to think Morgott was the dreary one who Mohg would chatter to but I think Morgott was the one might have been a bit more talkative in their younger years
Im not sure why it's so cute to think about Mohg being so big and grandiose, (perhaps even hedonistic) only to actually be a tad shy about talking with others for long periods of time outside of what would be considered the normal song n dance/fight.
I like his raspy purr that you could definitely feel in your heart while he speaks
