The place where you return carts are really close to the towers, so I returned my cart and took out all my stuff (which included a bag with that tag.) I was really close to the towers and nope, the tag didn’t go off. No sound. No beep. The fucking towers didn’t even go off. So I made my way back to a blind spot, concealed this really nice Dooney and Burke bag, and waltzed out of the store. No beeps. No sounds. Nothing.

Conclusion: These tags only go off when tampered with and will not set off the towers.

DAMN. You got away with another one?! I dunno if this conclusion is necessarily safe to make, but maybe people could try the same thing you did with getting close to the towers to test it out. It’ll probably be super fucking loud when you take it off at home though, haha. Hopefully you find a way to shut it up.

Word, girlies. Test it out, though I’m like 10000% sure the towers or the tag didn’t make that BEEPBEEPBEEP sound. And I got away with two actually. One MK clutch only had a sensormatic tag on it. I couldn’t believe my luck because it was super cute too and I just used my hook on it.

And I think acquiererofthings told me that you can dunk the tag in water and add salt to it until it short circuits. I’ve dealt with these noise-making tags like that before, and I’m pretty sure this is the same :)

lol part of today’s haul

Today I went to Neiman Marcus and lifted these.

My family is known to spend large amounts of money there, so we’re like close to the employees, managers, and lp. But today the manager made a huge mistake! lol he took me to stockroom and showed me how the employees work and what they have to do since i asked him if I can have a tour here! lol he left me in there for 40 minutes alone while yelling at his employees for being rude to it’s customers. let me tell you about the stockroom, they literally have no camera, security guards, or anyone in there unless it’s the manager or the shoe people coming in and out. I spotted these two lovelies and just putted them in my bag and just took the shoe boxes with me and threw them out in the trash cans. I don’t think I’ll get in trouble though because i threw the boxes away in the stockroom. lol before he came back, my family wanted to ring him up so they can purchase their items. I guess i was lucky! :) so yeahh.
