Does it ever occur to people that it’s fans of the same bands that god damn cut and maybe that if they didn’t listen to those bands or if those bands and their styles just simply didn’t exist that these people wouldn’t be annoying the rest of the world by being so attention seeking?

I mean not extinguishing those bands but maybe if these bands were just different in a way or if they didn't encourage the dark and kind of psychologically insane style then maybe cutting wouldn't be such a problem. Not every fan of these bands are like that though. So people that do cut for attention: please stop. Save that for the people that don't post about it seeking attention and that have real problems.

Today is Mark Hoppus' birthday. The amazing man is turning 42, and is still one of the coolest people on the entire planet. He cares so much about his fans, family, and everyone else; the music he writes is inspiring, his personality is jaw dropping, and just isn't afraid of being himself. Mark, I owe everything to you. You inspired me to play drums (although you are not a drummer), you inspired me to finally be myself, you inspire me to follow the dreams I have had since the age of 4, and I have met some of the greatest best friends that I only once dreamt of because of loving you.
