Hello there. My name's Rapunzel, Princess of Corona - or at least, I was. I was kidnapped as a child by a woman named Gothel, and she led me to believe I was her daughter. Eventually, I found out the truth after pursuing my dream of seeing the "floating lights". They were beautiful lanterns, released into the sky on my birthday by my real parents and they led me back home. I had help though, from an amazing man; Flynn Rider. Well, his real name is Eugene Fitzherbert. We were married in a small ceremony not long after I returned home and planning a large-scale public wedding, but then I was kidnapped once more. Gothel managed to get a man of power under her thumb - Claude Frollo, from Notre Dame. He and his "son" came to Corona masquerading as dignitaries and kidnapped me. I now live with Quasimodo in the bell tower of Notre Dame, and I have no idea how to get out of here and get home - I just hope I figure it out before it's time to give birth to my baby.

idk some random thoughts… I realise their situations are not entirely on par as Quasi/Punzie were trapped since they were babies and you could use the good old zookeeper’s argument “does a lion miss the savanna if it’s never seen it?” and argue about this ‘til the cows come home.  All that aside the point I tried to make is that not everyone takes captivity in their stride.
