Clinton lost Florida by 3%.
The third party was at 4%.
But hey…at least you all took a stand right?
Yeah because I voted for who I wanted, not for who everyone else wanted
Yeah?
And how’d that work out for you?
A vote for Clinton, someone who I strongly believe is corrupt and does not have our well-being in mind whatsoever, would have been the very definition of a wasted vote. I couldn't vote for Clinton or Trump without walking away with a guilty conscious.
The only way to beat the two-party system is to challenge it. It starts with baby steps. Getting 3rd party to 5% is the goal, as it would allow third party to receive federal funding and participate in the future debates. That's how you get change. If every person who was a registered independent voter actually voted independently (for a third party), the results would blow the r's and d's out of the water.
You can't vote for the same people who represent the same old ideologies and then expect change. On either side. We didn't get third party to 5%, but at least I didn't do the cowardice thing and vote for the "lesser of the evils".
I'm sick of seeing everyone pointing and yelling at each other with the blame. Want someone to blame? Blame the DNC for throwing away our votes for the democratic primary and just appointing Hillary. Blame the DNC because when they were called out on it, they said "oh lol sorry Bernie....it won't happen again" and fired the chair of the DNC, but STILL LEFT HILLARY IN THERE. These are not people who have our well being in mind. These are people who have MONEY and POWER in mind.
A third party vote was not a wasted vote. It was a vote against the corruption in our establishment that's stronger than ever. Stop being sheep.
That’s what people do who love you. They put their arms around you and love you when you’re not so lovable.

My grandmother once told me, ‘Relationships are work, honey, and they aren’t 50/50. Some days when I get up I only feel like giving 10%, then your granddaddy has to give 90% that day. But there is always 100% love.'”

I am so afraid of disappointing the people I love, I often forget that I am someone I love too. And I need kindness just as much as I believe the people I love do.
