Kallian, I suppose, has always been my main man even if I didn't know it at the time. I only made him because I like catmen and FFXIV finally let me be one.

He started off as archanist but I quickly switched to pugilist as melee classes used to be my favorite.

Now he's an absolute menace who won't leave my brain and Astrologian has been his/my main ever since it dropped. RIP to leveling melee and tanks, healer supremacy XD

fun fact about character development by the way. you can make them develop worse.

like I mean this very seriously as writing advice. the character should experience events and make decisions that make them different at the end of the story. they should be changed. they do not have to be improved.

they can get worse. they can make decisions of an increasingly terrible nature. they can stop taking risks on kindness. they can discover how much they can get away with. they can find religion, or abandon it, with negative effects on their moral creed. the character has to develop. the character does not have to grow.

This is my first completed build in /ages/. At the very least it is the first build I have posted here since 2024 and definitely the first one I have done with the upgraded item limits, and it's not even a from-scratch build. I did quite a lot of renovations on the previous Aetherflow build. You can see it here if you want to compare and contrast. With a new expansion coming it was time for a new look!

This is a one floor medium build that is currently sitting at 385/450.

reminder that the books themselves also suck ass actually. there's an entire plotline endorsing slavery. the one character who advocates to end slavery is bullied and made fun of. the one slave who doesnt like being enslaved is bullied and treated as an outcast. the bankers are the picture of racist stereotypes of jewish people. the one asian character is named fckn Cho Chang. the worldbuilding SUCKS. fuck harry potter and fuck rowling. stop giving her your money.
