You have gained lots of fame with the new series of America’s sweetheart’s documentary on Netflix, being one of the fan favorites for representing Mexico in the Dallas cowboys. You had to been chosen to advertise along with Kleine the World Cup, but she stayed in Dallas and you had to go to Mexico City. Kleine had been chosen for her excellent Japanese skills for interviews, meanwhile you got sent to Mexico City to translate for interviewers and just to represent Mexico in general. You got in your dcc uniform and headed to the interview sight where you saw the most beautiful man you have seen, he was a fair skinned blonde with blue eyes. As the interview went along, you couldn’t keep your eyes off of him, paying the most attention when he answered even though it was the other players that needed help with translations. When the interview ended, you had stayed to talk to one of the producers, thanking you for coming all the way to Mexico. Though there was only one player left in the room, I learned his name was Brian Gutierrez. “Hey, your (reader) right?” “Oh! Yeah.” From there on out we had a pretty solid conversation, I learned more about him then what I did in the interviews. He was really funny, thank goodness my uniform finally did me justice and bagged me a fine guy. “Gutierrez your on!” A staff yelled “well I have to go, see you around.” I hope I will, Mexico won 3-0 against Czechia. After the game ended and you finished up all the commissions, Brian came up to you again. “Hey so your not leaving Mexico soon are you?” He asked “well I leave in 3 days” “I think your really pretty and I wanted to ask you if I can take you out on Friday before you leave.” “Of course!” The day comes and Brian takes you out to this really private fancy restaurant, a little over the top for a first date but whatever. Surprisingly he’s really funny, we shared stories about our career and childhood. It all seemed too good to be real, maybe being a dcc is worth it.

Your parents recently broke it to you that you’re moving to Chicago, Illinois. You did not want to leave the life you had in ur city, especially since your life started to get better. The weeks you had left went by quick, and your house became empty, echoing anytime you spoke. You said your last goodbyes to your friends who have been there for you as long as you can remember, starting the roadtrip to Chicago in tears. Your parents kept reassuring you about how much better Chicago is than your hometown, but the thought of having to start brand new made your stomach sick. As you started unloading the things in your car, you saw a guy that was fair skinned, blonde and had beautiful blue eyes like the ocean. 2 days after you settled in, you had to start going to a new school. You couldn’t even sleep last night on how nervous you were, but maybe you’ll see that cute guy on your street again. He probably had a girlfriend due to how attractive he is but it never hurts to look extra presentable to the first day of a new school full of people who don’t know you. So you took your time to get ready, and pray to whatever god heard u. As you walked in the school, you got surrounded by many girls asking to see your schedule or ask where your from. No wonder new kids got popular so fast, you got a lot of help to get to my classes on time by the girls. In lunch I got invited by a group of girls to sit in their table, one of them named Avery asks me “so have you found any boys in our school cute?.” You still didn’t know if ur neighbor attended this school or not so you said not yet, until you saw him walking by. He was so handsome up close, as if time slowed down. Jasmine notices me starring and asks “do you think he’s cute?.” Raina comes in saying “good luck with that, he’s impossible to ask out, I’m just saying.” After lunch, you couldn’t stop thinking about him. You had a bit of trouble looking for your 9th period, the last period of the day. You didn’t come in late but you did come in late enough for the only seat to be left be next to the cute güero, how convenient. You had no choice but to sit with him, you notice Avery in the back winking at you. 9th period wasn’t hard, it was just writing a journal topic for 10 minutes then he free to do whatever you want. “What’s your name?.” He asks, is this actually happening? “Oh my name is (reader) and your is?” “Brian, Brian Gutiérrez.” The bell rings and I stand up about to go with Avery but I feel someone grab my arm “wait! We’re neighbors aren’t we? Do you want to walk together?.” “Oh! Sure!.” Didn’t Raina say it was hard to talk to him? Avery look at me with knowing face so she doesn’t even bother to ask if we wanna walk together instead, surprisingly I got to know a lot about Brian. The days went on and you always walked home with Brian. One day he even asked you out infront of the whole school for Valentine’s Day with a bouquet, basket and sign. He was the best boyfriend you could ever ask for, he was really good at soccer too. You though nothing could go wrong, until one day, he takes you to a date. He just got accepted to play for las chivas in Mexico, he’s going to move away. He’d promise you guys still be a couple in long distance and more. Who knows when you’ll see him again, all you need to do is be happy for him and trust him.

You had been heartbroken by the boy whose swore he loved you, maybe ur father was right. you decided to go out to the city to get your mind off things, it’s not like ur going to bump into him again since he’s training. You leave the hotel with your step mom’s permission, and went to tourist spots. It was so hard to get things off your mind that you even bumped into someone “Estas bien? Lo siento mucho, déjame ayudarte!” I help the boy up, he looked about my age “A-Ah no estoy bien, gracias! no me tienes que ayudar!.” He looked nervous, avoiding eye contact “No tengas miedo, no muerdo.” I said teasingly as I helped pick up his stuff up “estas vendiendo?” I say as I notice he has a lot of handmade bracelets, and bags “si, estan a 100 y las bolsas a 250 pero te las puedo rebajar si quieres.” “Ah no asi esta bien! Te compro de ti!” I start getting out my money, and buy half of the bracelets, and buy 6 small bags and give him more than what it costs “estas segura? Though I saw Gilberto looking at me from the field, I hated having to remind myself of what he did every time he was on the screen. I said my goodbyes to Gael as I went with my father and his team to congratulate them for winning. Bullshit, you had snuck out of your backyard countless of times to walk outside hoping to run into Gilberto every time. It’s been 2 months since the incident happened, your dad had recently been invited to an event in Mexico City and he didn’t want to leave you alone so he took you with him. You were thrilled by this news, hoping to see gilberto again. When you guys finally settled in the hotel, your father had left to run some errands with solo brand deals. Leaving you to wander around the hotel, you were in the lobby and heard his voice. Boy did you wish you never left the room, you found him laughing with another girl and touching her by the waist. Being the daughter of a famous soccer player wasn’t easy, especially because ur mother had abandoned you and father when you were just a baby. Your father was often out for training but sometimes he took you to watch him train when you didn’t have school, but recently there has been a new addition to the Mexicos national team, Gilberto Mora. He was the same age as you and very attractive at that, but you could never tell ur father you liked him, it’s his teammate. You watched Gilberto intensely as he did the daily drills before starting the actual practice, they were training for the upcoming World Cup of 2026 leaving less time for you and your dad. As the water break came, la hormiga went up to you rambling about an anime you should watch as you and him bonded over anime but all you could focus on was Gilberto. “Y/n, why are you staring at the new kid so intensely? Do you have a crush on himmmm, is he your senpaiii?.” He teased “shut up it’s not like that, it’s just that I’m familiarizing myself with him. You know how’d my dad react if I ever had a crush on somebody, especially one of his teammates.” I said. “You know you can trust me with any” He got cut off by their coach that water break was over, running back to the field. It’s me Gilberto.” I immediately started panicking and texting hormiga knowing this is his doing, fuck. “What did you tell him!” I physically wanted to yell at him myself from the phone “relax, I just told him that you wanted to get to know him, you know he’s been gawking at you ever since he came here.” I squealed like a little girl as I read that message “then what do I tell him, I’ve never even talked to him before, I don’t want to leave him on seen.” “Just tell him the truth at this point, it will work out trust me.” I listened to his advice and texted him back “Yeah, I think your cute and I want to get to know you but I don’t want my father knowing about this, please keep this a secret, he’d kill you if he did.” I said “don’t worry I won’t.” From there on out me and him had been sneaking out to hang out, he’d even ask me to be his girlfriend in secret of course. But one night as I quietly re entered the house so my dad won’t notice or so I thought, the lights turned on reveling my dad “where have you been, it’s 3 in the morning and who gave you those flowers?.” “Oh, my friend from America sent me these, so I went to go pick them up!.” “Don’t play dumb, why do they say “te amo” imma beat the shit out of that mocoso.” “Dad it’s not like that! I’m not seeing anyone!.” I cried out “then how are you going to explain to me why Gilberto has been sending you letters and gifts in the mail?.” “Dad he’s just a friend!.” “He better be, because that’s the last your seeing of him, I’m not taking you to any event that includes him and that’s final!.” I ran away to my room sobbing, how could he do this to me?!. I love him too much to let him go, I will never see him again! My sobbing was interrupted by a phone call from Gilberto “hey mi amor, why are you crying?.” “It’s my dad, he doesn’t think your good enough for me and won’t let me see you ever again!.” I cried “who cares what he thinks, we’ll see eachother don’t worry, I’ll find a way, buenas noches mi amor.” He hanged up, how will I cope with this?
