( She must be tired, I’ll let her rest ) Gaze shifts from her, his shoulder adjusting to accommodate a comrade well-deserving of sleep. There is a mild comfort that accompanies the soft breathing so near to him, memories of a simpler time greeting a troubled crown. ( If only we could return to when we were children… it was easier then ).
