Heya, I’ve been pretty inactive over here and it’s probably gonna stay that way, but I am active over on these accounts! I do things I enjoy and make silly little art of persona 4 :)

My friend takes this one step further and refers completely accurately to his girlfriend Danielle as "My partner, Dan"
Also i hate to say it but for some people, boyfriend/girlfriend feels a bit juvenile, say, if youre over 30, or perhaps youve been with someone for a very long time and are committed life partners but not married for whatever reason. Maybe husband/wife feels a little watered down to you and you want to establish the equal nature of your relationship.
Partner is a wonderful word and it should be normalized.
We actively asked people to use "partner" because then using partner doesn't out someone as queer, you absolute fucking cabbages.
It isn't appropriation when people ask you to fucking do it.

okay also like. The idea that something has to directly relate to your lived experience to have any value is so GROSS to me, it’s AWFUL, it is so completely fucking antithetical to what literature is supposed to BE!!!!!!!! I am the person i am because I read things that confused me and challenged me and scared me and unsettled me and made me stop and try to think about how the world feels to someone from a totally different time and place!!!!! Are proshippers being vague and sneaky about the definition of proship, or are you so insistent that proship means "active child molester" that you don't realize that we mean exactly what we are saying.
It's okay to hate ships/characters/tropes, I have a lot of the former which I despise due to my own trauma.
It still doesn't give you the right to harass people over it, wish them death, rape, and other horrible things.
It's important to speak up and state your boundaries. Even if you are bad with confrontation, it still doesn't give you the right to be upset when people cannot read your mind.
