Downton Abbey New DVD

Now downton Abbey as ended! Why can’t they bring out the uncut Version of Downton Abbey so everyone gets to see how it was meant to be. Is that to much to asked for? What do we need to do for that to happen? I was hoping this new dvd would be it but sadly not 😢

Surely JF hasn't just brought Lord Merton back to prolong his pain. (the storyline) He wouldn't do that, would he?

I’m not sure to be honest, I really don’t get the point of this season. I had such high hopes for season six, and there was so much talk about “mature” love etc. before the show started. But Isobel has barely been given any screen time at all. Not to mention any form of storyline. All I can say is this, Isobel should marry Merton out of love, not out of pity. And the Isobel I know would never do that either… She did accept his proposal once. She wanted a new adventure in life, and I think Isobel deserves one. Also, Penelope herself said her wish was that Isobel wouldn’t end up alone, in an interview quite recently. But I don’t trust Fellowes.

Kavan, don’t count on it. If JF comes to USA for press tour in December, he’ll get a lot of push back. Probably more than with Matthew’s death as this season is all JF’s doing.

Do you think JF is getting senile? I like MG and was open to Mary marrying Henry but it was so unbelievably rushed. I’m still in a daze. The whole Henry character is so weird and it’s hard to believe Mary loves him enough to marry him. She fell this hard in a few short months after taking what three years to fall in love with Matthew?

Nope, I’m not buying it. Looking forward to the Christmas special just to see how this all plays out.

Downton Abbey is really the Lady Mary show, the character of Edith doesn't get a look in, and Robert Bathurst a Superb actor is only in a few scene it makes no sense. Robert Bathurst has made sir Anthony a loveable character and more importantly he is believable!!! I hoping to god we will see Sir Anthony in season 4 So What the hell JF thinking with this Gregson storyline I have no idea he is a unpopular character already!!!
