although their dynamic isn’t the same as sebastian and painter’s — 1x4 would be more snappish and noli would give him a lotta sass for it, but they tolerate each other just fine

Having 1x as your lover is quite uneventful actually. They're chill for the most part, unlike how she usually presents herself whenever she plays as a killer.
And despite being popularly known as a hate-filled being, behind closed doors, he's more affectionate than most people thought.
Though their affection is quiet, just like her. Lingering around doors and waiting for you to finish something before approaching you, brushing shoulders when you happen to be close by.
Always longing to fully hold you, but couldn't let herself do so. Her past and fears hold her back from showing how much he absolutely craves your touch.
At this point, it isn't hard for you to notice how they're always one step forward and two steps backwards with their affection.
So that's why you're usually the one to initiate contact first, so 1x doesn't have to second guess his decisions. And also because you might as well go insane if they keep hesitating every single thing.
It's plainly obvious no matter how nonchalant they act.
However, during a round, 1x notices you being close to another survivor. A certain chicken man that they would love to rip into pieces for even daring to come up to you. THEIR lover.
But the actual turning point for them was how Shedletsky casually touches your arm, how Shedletsky can make jokes to you and be free with his affection.
While 1x is fuming, you and Shedletsky were sharing advice on how to counter each killer's attacks or to avoid them. You were about to pass the man a medkit when 1x suddenly cuts into the conversation. Literally.
Swords flung forward and sunk deep into Shedletsky's head. The admin falls to the ground, unmoving, as blood splatters all over your face.
You feel someone scoop you up like a cat and take you away. And that someone is 1x.
"Umm, 1x?"
"What."
You and 1x were currently sitting in some corner of the map, huddled together with you on his lap and their arms wrapped around your waist.
She has her face buried into your face, breathing in your scent and nuzzling into your warmth.
"Aren't you supposed to be, y'know..." You vaguely gesture to someplace else, "killing the other survivors?"
"I couldn't care less about the others. As long as that fucker's dead, I don't care." 1x answers in a soft, low voice, a contrast to the loud and sarcastic quips they give you.
"You're not usually this affectionate." You bring up. You can sense them freezing in place, their grip around your waist only tightens.
"... Do you want me to stop?" She asks.
"No, it's okay. I like it." You lean back, turning over slightly so you can rest your head on their chest. "You're not mad at me, are you?"
"Why would I be mad?" 1x looks genuinely confused.
"Cause I talked to Shedletsky."
"Oh." 1x adjusts his position, leaning back to offer you more comfort while sitting on their lap. "No, I'm not mad at you. There's no way I can be mad at you."
"What did you say?"
"Nothing." They turn away. "I just— wanted to take a break for a while. That's all."
You scoff, rolling your eyes playfully. "As if I believe that."
"Just—" From their tone alone, you imagine them blushing furiously. "Shut up."
And the two of you stayed like that until the round ended.
