"Calm down, geez!" Taiga screamed back at him, slamming her foot down. "You're a bastard!" she finished, turning around and storming back to the park. Good god, could he not take a joke? It was hat, a hat! Although Taiga did feel a bit of guilt for being such a jerk, she'd never admit it.

"Oh no, oh no, oh no..." He muttered, not caring about the other anymore. He picked up his hat, pressing it close to his chest, crying silent tears. "I-it's okay... I-it just n-needs a quick bl-blow dry, ri-right?" He whispered, his voice becoming more and more broken.

“I-I tol’ ya it’s not that big of a deal! Mamuru!” She blushed, not used to being picked up by any one. “Geez… nothing I say will stop ya from this will it?” she muttered, giving him a pout.

"Of course it is! Oh no!" Mamuru hugged her close, feeling he was a bad friend. "God, i'm such a douche! Oh, you get to choose your cake, and you can help yourself to my fridge as well." He barely noticed the pout, more focused on how he'd make it up to Kyouko.

"I don't want to go to your house, pervert!" she snapped. She started to stand up slowly, her legs wobbling back and forth. "And I don't want help either.." she mumbled, reaching into her pocket. She dug out the hat and spun it around her pointer finger. "Hmm..what should I do with this?" she asked, giving him a weak smile. Her arm swung back and forward again, throwing the hat in the air as it landed in a puddle a few feet away.

"God, stop being such a whiny, paranoid douche for a minute. Jesus christ." Mamuru shrugged, and then crossed his arms, rolling his eyes. "Don't be an idiot, you need medical attention." He glared at Taiga as she took his hat from her pocket, making him gulp in some air. He watched her throw it, making him widen his eyes and attempt to catch it, failing to do so. He felt angry tears well up. His mom knitted him that, before she died. He whipped his head around, "What the hell's your problem, you insensitive brat!?"
