So, I don't know why you're trying to throw it all away on someone like me. I was born poor, raised poor, and even though I work, I have debt. I have no dowry. If anything, I have a negative dowry.

In 2022, I wanted to find out Tumblr's Top 50 Musicals after seeing similar surveys on Reddit and Twitter. Now, three years and lots of new musicals later, I'm excited to see if anything has changed. So here's the 2025 survey!
To participate, please reply to this post / send me a non-anonymous ask / a dm with your Top 10 favourite musicals - ranked from 1 to 10, with 1 being your absolute favourite, until 11th June 2025.
Rules:
Since every show will receive points according to its ranking, I'm asking you to rank exactly 10 musicals, not more, not fewer.
Movie musicals and concept musicals without stage adaptations do not count. The musical MUST have a stage version.
Revivals/rewrites of a show count as the same musical, e.g. Bat Out Of Hell West End vs. Las Vegas.
Please include the composer/lyricist or another distinguishing element if there are at least two different musicals of the same name, e.g. Cinderella (R&H vs. ALW).
It's meant to be a list of your favourite musicals, not those you consider to be the best! There's no need to justify your choice.

The other absolutely perfect Carlotta Countess costume in Phantom history? AND the most vivid facial expressions ever? Yes. The answer is yes.
And a cloeup (of someone else in the costume), just to show how ridiculously nice and well-proportioned the lines of that stomacher is - and it doesn’t even begin to show how much it glitters!
Katara is separated from her friends, and so she's left to travel the earth kingdom on her own. She stumbles across Zuko, who is similarly travelling on his own. They decide that pairing up and travelling together would be best
Zuko finds out Katara was parentified from the age of eight and was a single mom friend of three until he stumbled into the position of gaang dad friend. So when she visits the Fire Nation Zuko dotes on her, making sure her every need is anticipated and catered to. He even goes as far as - to the horror of his council - kneeling to remove her shoes.
Because of this she earns the nickname Lady Katara among the palace staff which she finds amusing but a little confusing. So one day over tea she asks Iroh why they call her that and he explains:
"They're just practicing."
"Why would you need to practice a nickname?"
"Well my dear, they expect that within a few years Fire will preceed it."
