My boss gave me a significant raise out of desperation instead of the schedule I wanted and I'm honestly just gonna save up so when I put in my two weeks at the end of the year, I can be like "all you had to do was give me the schedule I wanted instead of forcing me to be the backbone of your store when I literally blatantly explicitly said that I no longer wanted to be a manager."

I've worked there for almost a decade. You would think that I COULD GET THE FUCKING SCHEDULE I WANTED.

I'm gonna tell my kids "never ACCIDENTALLY become important at work. Unless you wanna be a manager, be as fucking lazy as you can get away."
