From Kairi’s twitter. Sasuke is shorter than I realized!
Kairi says this has nothing to do with the main story line, she just wanted to draw them with nosebleeds. They look so cool!!
I think the first kanji is 四 (four) and the next word is すくみ which the jisho says is “gridlock”. Google translate says it’s “freezing.” So maybe 4 person gridlock??

“Saizou, if I show you something funny, will you promise not to laugh?”
Yup. She had seriously just asked that. And to make it worse, she was completely serious in her request. Despite the nonchalant tone her voice seemed to carry, there was a sense of urgency in her large eyes. A slight shuffle of her feet told her that she was impatient for his response, despite the fact that none of this had been spoken aloud.
Well… good thing she was someone who expressed a lot of her emotions in body language anyway.
Turning his head to regard the young priestess, Saizou took note of her unusual demeanor. Though her voice attempted to keep the matter nonchalant, her eyes seemed to insist that he comply with her desire. And it looked like she was getting impatient.
It was a strange request, but he nodded the affirmative, “Yeah, fine. I promise I won’t laugh.” Now, normally Saizou wouldn’t have made a promise over what felt like something so trivial, but it seemed like Isanami was really bothered by... whatever this was.
Besides, the Brave of Light was pretty damn confident with his ability to keep a straight face.
Saizou's eyebrow twitched in annoyance when he felt the redhead's hand slither up his thigh. "Do you want a second prosthetic arm that badly, Hanzo? Because if this hand," he gestures toward the appendage in question, clearly exasperated, "moves any farther, I will happily sever it from your wrist for you."
Hanzo stops his movement the moment the other speaks, Mischief in his eyes as he shifts more of his weight to his hand, using it to support himself on the others thigh. He was half-leaning towards the other, his crimson eyes amused as he smiles at the other.
An impish smile and an evil twinkle in his eyes as he squeezes the others thigh. After all, Saizou had said if he moved it any further.
… his current leader had never said anything about what he would do if the red-head stayed where he was. “But, Saizou-kun~ You seem lonely.” The crimson-haired shinobi murmurs, before licking his lips. “… I could give you some attention if you’d like? Neh~?”
It was something of a relief when the redhead’s hand halted in its progress. But despite the fact his hand wasn’t continuing, it also wasn’t retreating. Saizou felt his muscles twitch when the Brave of Fire squeezed the flesh of his thigh teasingly.
“And what exactly makes you think I’m lonely?” the younger male demanded, his obsidian eyes absentmindedly following the trail of Hanzo’s tongue before casually returning his gaze to topaz hues. He made a mental note to be more direct with his wording next time. And he was certain there would be a next time. This was Hanzo after all.
Though to be honest, it had been quite some time since his last ‘encounter’. And he had no doubt the redhead was talented--nearly everyone from Iga was. It was part of their training after all. He’d be lying if he said he wasn’t just a tiny bit curious, especially upon catching sight of the devilish glint in his eyes...
But this was Hanzo. This was the man who had slaughtered all of Izumo. This was the man who’d tried to kill both him and his companions, and on multiple occasions at that. Yes, he knew it hadn’t been anything personal--the redhead was a professional after all--but sometimes it was hard not to take it personally. Especially since he’d grown so protective of his Braves and Yukimura. It made him difficult for Saizou to trust.
Still... at least Hanzo’s advances seemed earnest. Even if his persistence was over the top.
✖ : Hurt or Be Hurt (ง'̀-'́)ง [fite me -is shot-]
✖: Hurt or Be Hurt
The midnight-haired shinobi felt one of his eyebrows raise at the question. Would he rather hurt someone or be hurt? That was… a good question. One that Saizou wasn’t entirely sure of all the time. “It depends on the circumstance, I guess,” he shrugged.
He had no problem hurting others, especially if they challenged him first. And he didn’t mind getting hurt–in fact it was rather invigorating if his opponent proved to be formidable.
Contrary to what some people thought, he didn’t always despise Kamanosuke’s murder attempts. It was somewhat amusing actually, slamming the redhead’s face into the floor, only to have him get more excited. It was a bit strange for Saizou, particularly at first, but he was getting used to it. In face, at this point, he was pretty sure he was a bit of a sadist.
(What frustrated him about Kamanosuke was that he never knew when to give it a goddamned rest.)
But he also couldn’t deny that he enjoyed coming across a true challenge. For example, someone like Hanzo, who had been the first person to draw his blood in years. And though Hanzo pissed him off for a variety of reasons, he also forced Saizou to become even stronger. He was the greatest obstacle the younger male had ever come across.
(And in many ways, it made him enjoy every slice, every gash he’d every received from the new Brave of Fire.)
“Who am I hurting? Or whose trying to hurt me?” Saizou asked rhetorically, continuing, “That’s the biggest deciding factor.”
☄
☄: Strength or Intelligence
Saizou took a few moments to debate his choice. It was a difficult one, to be sure–especially for a shinobi. Starting out slowly, he answered, “Strength is important, immensely so.” After all, if you’re not strong, you won’t get anything done yourself.
“But,” Saizou added carefully, “strength can be overcome with intelligence.” The first example that came to mind was when the Braves had first encountered Seikai. Strength wise, they were unable to hold a candle to the large monk. But with a bit of clever thinking, they were able to overcome him.
Not to mention the Brave of Light was known for using illusions and mirages--and they were often some of his deadliest techniques. Closing his midnight eyes in thought, Saizou concluded,“People seem to forget that intelligence is a strength all its own.”
☢
☢: Freedom or Safety
When given the choice between freedom or safety? It was no contest. Saizou would always choose freedom.
“I left Iga and became a rogue. I wanted to break away from this shitty hierarchy of lords, samurai, and shinobi. I didn’t give a damn what it would cost me,” Saizou explained, supporting his chin on his hand. That was one of the most unstable and uncertain times of his life. He never knew when he’d get his next meal. In fact, the young man had been in the middle of one of his involuntary fasts when he’d met the reincarnated goddess.
With a quiet chuckle and an amused smile he added, “Hell, I went for weeks without so much as a grain of rice, but I didn’t care.” And he knew without a doubt that he would do it again. So long as he had his freedom, he didn’t care what challenges he had to face.
Strangely, he felt more free now than he ever had before… And to top it off, he was beginning to feel safe among the Braves and Yukimura.
… And that went against everything he’d ever learned before.
Our choices are revealing...

Izanagi: Many years ago, I lost my beautiful wife, Izanami, in Yomi.
Izanami: QUIT TELLING PEOPLE I'M DEAD!!
Izanagi: Sometimes I can still hear her voice.
do you go to brothels regularly? (blushing furiously) and what type of girl do you prefer? XD
Saizou arched an eyebrow at the question before answering amusedly, “No need to blush, Gray-Face.” After all, visiting brothels wasn’t uncommon… “But to answer your question: no, I don’t visit brothels regularly.” Not to say that the former Iga didn’t enjoy those sorts of activities, he just didn’t enjoy them as much when it was only a business transaction.
Shrugging his shoulders the Light Brave began answering the second question, “I can’t really say I have any specific type.” He’d had plenty of hookups in his teen years, and their ‘types’ were all over the place… In fact, most of his sexual experience had been for missions and the like.
Hell, part of his Iga training was getting used to his teacher flirting with/sexually harassing him.
Honestly though, if someone could accept all of him as he was–a lost, passionate heart with gentle, albeit blood-soaked, hands–he would probably be willing to give them a shot, regardless of who they happened to be.

{{ Out-of-Aurora }} - First off, I wanna say I’m really psyched to be back on my Brave 10 blogs~ (Even if my activity has been a bit sporadic ^.^0) It’s been a blast getting to write for these muses again!
However, I’ve got a bit of a vacation/event going on Sunday through Monday, but I should be back on here either Monday night or Tuesday. So, in short... sorry for my brief disappearance! But I will be back, I promise~ Until then, I’ll probably just be doing some super light blogging from my phone...
I’m also not gonna bother reblogging these to the rest of my blogs: Rokurou, Nanakuma, Sasuke, and Komatsu.
Dying Embers ll Hanzo and Saizou
Crimson-hair whipped violently behind him, as he stood on the rooftop of Ueda. He was watching out into the darkness, attempting to locate something with his gaze…
He’d just been told that he and Saizou were to go on something of a mission together. It was Yukimura’s idea, though, Hanzo hadn’t disagreed. Only saying that he would meet the other on the roof, while waiting for the other to get ready. Hanzo had attended the meeting in his full gear anyways… It wasn’t like Yukimura often summoned him to his chambers to speak.
Though, it appears that this was going to get interesting.
Bandits had moved into the area recently. They knew of the lacks Lord of Ueda, and how he generally dealt with things… However, even though he’d been willing to over-look it at first, assuming they would just be passing through the area… they had now made something of a game of attacking Yukimura’s people. At least two small families in Ueda had been destroyed… and from what it sounds like, they had taken a few of the younger ones from those families hostage.
Yukimura wanted the two of them to deal with the mess, and return those who had been taken to Ueda. Specifically to Yukimura, personally, so that he could talk to them and arrange for where they would be living from this point on, and what family they would be living with. Yukimura was usually an easy-going guy… but his people loved him. And he adored his people.
This sort of thing was not to be over-looked.
And he was sending two of his strongest members to do it. Yukimura had never said that the bandits need be killed… If he ever said something along those lines, it would be just like the rest of the Braves to wonder what was wrong with him, or if he’d been personally angered. However, he had said get rid of them. And Hanzo would… however Hanzo needed to.
He would just have to be careful not to damage the woods in the process. He could hardly imagine that the Brave of Grass would be altogether too pleased with him if he did damage to his precious woodland friends home. So he would have to keep the fire to a minimum.
And that was fine. Hanzo could kill many more ways than that.
It hadn’t taken Saizou long to gather his gear, he nearly always carried everything he needed with him anyway. It’s just that the raven-haired shinobi figured it would be wise to restock the throwing knives he’d expended earlier thanks to a certain sadomasochistic Brave of Wind.
Saizou managed to spot Hanzo’s blood red braid against the darkened sky--waiting on the roof, just as he’d said. A moment later, the younger male joined his partner on the roof.
The sun had set hours ago and it seemed clouds draped over the sky, far beyond the horizon. “The wind’s picked up,” Saizou commented quietly, alerting the other of his presence--though the other was undoubtedly already aware. “Looks like it’s going to be a dark one tonight,” he murmured mostly to himself, not that he was complaining in the slightest. No doubt it would make it easier to sneak up on the bandits they were after.
Of course, that also made it more difficult for them to track their prey in the first place. How unfortunate for the troublemakers that two of the best shinobi Yukimura had to offer were the ones hunting them down...
“See anything?” Saizou questioned, scanning the darkness halfheartedly. If there was anything to be spotted, Hanzo had probably already seen it. No need to waste effort.
You see, your fight for survival starts right now.
You don’t want to be judged? You won’t be.
You don’t think you’re strong enough? You are.
You’re afraid. Don’t be.
You have all the weapons you need.
{ ƝƠƜ ƑƖƓӇƬ. }
If you could be any other element, which would it be? No, you cannot pick darkness. [That's ruled out because... of reasons. :'3]
Saizou restrained himself from rolling his eyes, so they didn’t want him picking darkness, eh? Ah well... “Fire or lightning, I guess” the midnight-eyed shinobi replied, resting his cheek on his hand. Both fire and lightning were known for being heavily destructive, and that made them seem the most like his own techniques.
And ironically, both produced light.
