First of all, I’d love to thank everyone for following this blog thus far, and those that stuck around during the hiatuses.
As I was fearing, the hiatus is becoming an official end to this blog. Writing, for me, is something that is not only going to take up the space of a couple of months. Since I want to do this as a career, it means I will have to drop some other hobbies and responsibilities. Unfortunately that includes this blog.
I have a few queued posts and I will have them out soon, but this blog will become an archive. I will still be reachable if anyone wants some general advice for making musings, or if you want to follow my personal blog where I will answer any questions about my writing as well if you are interested.

First of all, thank you so much for 1000+ followers! Hiatus info under cut.
So I’m calling it now, I failed Nanowrimo! But that means I’m going to need a bit more time to finish writing my book, and I think that is doable within the next month.
Unfortunately that means I will not be returning until January, which I’m very sorry about! I am very serious about writing, and since I have so many blogs that means I have to be picky about what I spend my time on for a little while longer. Come January my plate shouldn’t be as full. Again, happy holidays everybody.
I begin work on my novel today, but I won’t be keeping up with the sideblog, as there just isn’t enough interest for me to take time from my schedule for it. I hope everyone had a good Halloween. Happy holidays and I hope to be back in December.

If you aren’t familiar with Nanowrimo, it is essentially a test that encourages you to finish writing a novel, and finish it fast (in only a month!)

About my story: Sapient will be a psychological drama that explores the mind of Jeremy Irving, a severely disillusioned man battling with mental illness as well as substance abuse. The story will also focus on the people he has chosen to surround himself with, and the strange ties that keep them together.
Sapient centers around a company that claims to have developed a cure-all for illnesses of the mind, and that cure-all involves placing patients and technicians in a virtual reality program. After becoming heavily dependent on the medication used to help the virtual reality technicians escape the simulation, Jeremy starts to have problems discerning what is real and what is not. When he finds himself sought after by someone who seems to have nothing but control, he begins to wonder if the best way to cope is to release what remains of his inhibitions.
My story contains the following triggers: Self harm, drug abuse, blood, mutilation, character death
But it also contains: Depictions of mental illness, canon LGBTQA+ characters, a multi-ethnic cast, a setting in a reality alternate to our own, and a child character that barely even talks(!)

The goal of the sideblog is going to revolve mainly around telling you guys about my novel, creative process, and the content I am going to put out for my story. You can expect to see things like my art, fanart (if it happens), Nanowrimo and Sapient-based playlists, and worldbuilding posts. But I also want you to tell me about your stories and characters. Tell me about what will and won’t work for your story and characters. Help me develop mine. Let’s form a little network of writers and bust our butts through Nanowrimo!
