Abolish Tesla.
I feel itās important to point out that sometimes you can be far more effective going with the flow than swimming against it. Such as, if your government starts taking a disturbing interest in promoting religion, donating to or joining your local chapter of the Satanic Temple.
Itās all going to hell in a hand basket anyway.
I want you to remember:
The fascists hate you too and they just will pretend otherwise until after they've killed the rest of us, before they turn on you.
Thanks to whoever tried, but I knew they'd never allow it.
Let's do it the old fashioned way. Spread it far and wide.
Executive orders do not change the Constitution or laws passed in Congress.
Push back. Use your voice. Stay engaged.
DO NOT SUBMIT IN ADVANCE.
There are more of us than them.
Democracy is the theory that the common people know what they want, and deserve to get it good and hard.
H. L. Mencken
things we need to address:
gen z men getting pulled into alt-right pipelines through andrew tate, joe rogan, elon musk, jordan peterson etc
the gullibility and stupidity of half the country voting against our collective best interests
the broad effect social media has on public and common good
lazy minds and lack of empathy
outside-country interference (trump and elonās connections to russia and the amount of bots from other countries spreading misinformation)
the long-term effects of AI and rampant disinformation
reblog this version instead

uninformed voters
misogyny and a concerning amount of young women turning to trad life
lack of spirituality. humans for whatever reason need this (a sense of purpose in life) or else they go crazy at the collective level. i personally am not a fan of religion but religion isnāt the same thing as spirituality. essentially, concern with the soul and self-growth than material interests. they can and should exist simultaneously so that one informs the other (otherwise how would you live, in a purely spiritual world, practically speaking?). so many people are aimlessly looking for something, hence why many are turning to guys like jordan peterson, but they are looking in the wrong places and being pulled into regressive ideologies that hurt the people around them rather than enrich the lives of themselves and others.
we need greater awareness of ourselves, how we think, patterns in behavior, honesty, and truth. we need to understand what all human beings have in common at the basic level, what they want and need, and start from there.
edit: re: sprituality: i edited it some, what im trying to say is that people want meaning in their life. i shouldve worded it better.
The mental gymnastics the writers must be doing to convince themselves that injuring yourself in war for your son is an act of cowardice is wild!
Like, they will do literally anything to try and convince the audience it was a bad decision, even going as far as to contradict themselves in season 5 and say Rumple did it because he was scared he was going to die, not because of his son. But, like, he's still in the right even if Meliah wasn't pregnant because we literally see no survivors at the end of the battle.
And at the end of the day, if he had died, Bae would probably have been abandoned by his mother anyway or killed by a snake bite and have no parent figure to love him.
(Oops, this kinda became a part 3 of the writers hating Rumple š )
The craziest thing about this is that we, from the BEGINNING, know that this war is bullshit. We know that the Duke of the Frontlands has the Dark One so he could end the war whenever he chooses. We also see him conscripting literal kids, so the narrative is very much anti-war and anti-duke, and the fact that this war has been raging for years and has decimated the population to the point of having to resort to child soldiers tells us a lot about the savagery of the war. In a later episode we even see ogres destroy an entire part of a castle, just to drive the point home about how ridiculous it is for peasants-turned-soldiers to be put up against ogres.
Then they have us see how a bonafide seer tells Rumple what pretty much sounds like a warning about how he was gonna die if he fought in battle, even though we saw him pretty determined before to fight. And then we see him hobbling himself, an excruciatingly painful thing to do. And we know he's doing it for his boy. Because we were told about how damaging being abandoned by his father was for Rumple and how he does not want that to happen to his son.
I think the narrative took a hard turn when Hook became Adam and Eddie's pet character, and not in the fun "villain we love" or even "anti-hero that's fun to write", but full on "bad-boy who turns into the hero" mode, which meant heavily whitewashing a lot of his bad-boy traits (like his penchant for sleeping with drunk women or all that murdering and double-crossing he did). But the problem was that Hook was introduced as an antagonist to Rumple in an unfortunate way, meaning an asshole who literally taunted and fought a cripple, mocked him, and ran away with the guy's wife (who emotionally abused him and was totally cool with leaving her kid). Hook was full on a bully there so the narrative had to change. What if actually Rumple crippling himself was his fault? What if Milah was actually the victim in that marriage because Rumple refusing to die in a war affected her social status? That makes Rumple the one with no honour and Hook an honourable man.
Worst thing is that lots of people accepted the narrative because it made it more palatable to see the character they liked bully a disabled person.
And doesnāt this just limit the growth of EVERYONE? Like, we canāt have characters that grow and change and learn, like, for example, real people. No, instead this character is good and was always good, and it was only this very specific set of circumstances that made them look bad, and even then only from a certain point of view.
Where are the characters that can say āI was an asshole in the past, but Iām coming to terms that I need to be better for everyone around me and myself.ā ? Because I really think we need more of that shown in a positive light, not washing out the rest of a story to make one character look better, but a character strong enough to stand amongst the rest, take a stand against themselves, and apologize.
can't stop thinking about how dame aylin is literally a homophobic father's worst nightmare. 7ft tall lesbian with a bigass sword walks in, makes your daughter swoon, whisks her away and turns her against you, kills you and stomps on your head until she's essentially making wine and then celebrates by treating your daughter to a several day fuckathon. nobody's doing it like her
