āAnd then the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them. But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.ā
Man is inherently sinful, and especially in this time wracked with murder and pain, but nevertheless, Noah walked with God and found his grace. To me, this serves as a reminder that even if we sin and cause pain to the people around us, there is stillĀ hope for us to walk with the Lord and bask in his grace. In fact, our sin should be a motivating factor to bask in the grace of God and right the wrongs that we have caused. It seems like now, there is an enormous amount of pain in the world. Self-centered interests rule our daily lives, so I turnĀ to Noah in this passage as a goal: to walk every day with kindness and live every moment to find grace in the eyes of the Lord.
