Jay flinched at his heed- It was only moments ago that she had found him so torn apart, that she had rushed over to kneel down beside him and aid the Jackel. Trying her best to use materials in her surroundings to stop what bleeding he had oozing out of any wounds. There wasnt much around, only rubble and daubrie- So Jay acted on taring a piece of fabric from the bottom of her top, to put pressure on his wounds. After giving him a gentle heads up.

Caught off guard by his sudden hostility, she threw her hands up, an eased herself back a few feet, still clenching the piece of fabric in her palm.

She wasn't sure how he had gotten so beaten, but she did her best to keep her distance, like he earged. But there still needed to be something done about his wounds.

Jay spoke slowly and firmly to him " ... Hurt me?" He already made it clear that he didnt want to hurt her, only reason is finding why he would in the first place, and getting him to relax around her, to let her help. " W-whats your name?... Tell me your name, please. " she called out to him. Mainting her pose.

Dan still could not believe he had escaped with his life, not through his own ability but by sheer dumb luck, taking the chance opportunity had worked in his favour but it was far from over.

With several injuries along his body, both weakened and tired from combat with the demon kin of the realm, he lay still for several moments hoping to gather his strength back, It might not take long for them to pursue but not that fast surely, and the environment was certainly quiet enough.

Then again, what was this place? it was unlike anything he’d ever witnessed, in fact it was slightly terrifying considering his zero awareness of such scenery. A demon realm lacking any such colours and flora was sure to raise questions amongst the calm panic, still it was not like anything was nearby and….

Footsteps!? there was no mistaking it, as soon as the young demon went to try and move, scanning his surroundings hastily in worry to find the source before his eyes laid upon the curious lifeform. Being wary he glared at them for several moments, all being as tense as if the scene could be a broken by the sound of the smallest pin dropping.

But with her lack of action, words and hostile intent, slowly he began to ease up and continue getting up until he was sat upright, the entire time keeping Jay in his sights before finally breaking the silence. “What are you?”

It felt like the moment stretched on longer then just mere seconds. Jay didnt realize she was holding her breath, until he began to ease himself up, and she took in a quick breath of air, and holding it in once more when he was upright, having her not leave his line of vision. Jay stiffened when he finally spoke. Blinking a few times, as she took a moment to turn over the question in her head.

Parting her lips, she replied " I'm, Jay... " She shook her head lightly " - I-I mean-... I'm a cat?..." Stammering as she corrected herself. even if part of her instincts were to help someone who’s in need of aid- this man only just made warning signs go off in the back of her head, Jay felt the instinct to be cautious of him. But in his condition, she doubt he’d be able to do much, he can barley pull the strength to sit up right, so she didnt feel too threatened by him, but she’ll heed her instinct to be wary.

She shouldve been the one asking the questions, honestly, she’d never seen a species like him before. There were plenty of halfbreeds around that would make one question, but this guy was something odd and new, she was only able to tell he was even male was because of his masculine features. Or the fact that he looks like road-kill, and instead of asking for help, he's instead asking what i am? Jay shook away her wondering thoughts, and in a slow and query tone, mustering up a question “ …Where are you from? - ” Trying to fixate her attention on the matter at hand. One thing she noticed, was how emotionless this guy was, he had such cold, hard blue eyes, there was a tint of confusion in them, naturally. But It was like watching an Android analyzing its surrounding, scanning, more than looking. It only made her peer at him, and feel uneasy. “…. Are you alright? ” was all she managed to ask.
