Rubs my hands. It's honestly hard to see them due to Stell's complexion, but they do have quite a few scars! One that's been previously established is the scarring around their wing ports, while the rest are better seen and mapped on their gijinka version thanks to the virtue of having more real estate there 😂
Some, including their wing and top surgery scars, are self-inflicted, while the rest are memoirs from wishing star challengers and encounters in ancient ruins. Stell can't remember where all of them have come from, but he will considers them as trophies of his tenacity, and a grim reminder against ever letting down his guard.

As described in a previous ask, Phemus is afraid of some pretty specific things! Like missing out on tasty gossip, getting the Draw 69 card in Uno, running out of breakroom coffee, when Too Many Legs Larry looks at her Like That...
She may be pretty cavalier about yapping about them in general, but given how low-stakes her supposed 'fears' are, who knows if they're true or not 🤷

Stell:

Stell's healthiest coping mechanism is tbh their tendency to channel their negative feelings into productivity. He isn't the type to just sit and seethe in his emotions, he's going to Do something about it (and seethe about it while Doing)
Unfortunately, this quickness to action can also make this a rather unhealthy coping mechanism. Quick to push things aside and point fingers, added with Stell's tendency to rationalize everything in his own favor, makes for an extreme amount of action for something or someone that may not deserve it, and an extreme amount of inaction for anything remotely introspective.
Ohhh interesting one 🤔 Gonna answer this for Stell since he's on the mind rn!
[34] Do they have vices they don’t want others to know about?
For Stell, it would be his perpetual envy--they would never admit it, let alone call it for what it was, but he is all too aware of what he lacks and the knowledge of what could have been, it exists and it's right there, he knows he's supposed to have it but he doesn't continues to eat him alive.
This stems from and continues to feed their chronic fear and paranoia--some may call it prey animal instinct--that he's been weaponizing to lash out at others since he was made.
Of course, Stell would rather die a thousand times over rather than admit all this, and continues to outwardly channel and flaunt their complexes as acts of wrath and justified through various mental gymnastics routines.

Hi anon, thanks for the questions!! These are defo some fun ones!!
[12] How high is their self-esteem?
Dirt-low for both. Stell's might actually be higher because at least he gaslights himself into thinking he's the specialest most tortured guy in the cosmos, but Lady Helia, especially at the height (and end) of her career, did not have the best self-esteem, if at all.
[15] How do they act around people they don't like?
Stell makes it no secret. If someone can't get the hint by the death threats and beam attacks being slung their way then they're denser than a pile of bricks.
Lady Helia on the other hand has been raised with proper manners (and trained in the ways of being an idealized legendary hero) so if anybody ends up the target of her ire, neither they nor anybody in the cosmos will know. ever. That customer service smile and cordiality is On Lock 24/7/365

For Stell, he's honestly a bit of an open book; anybody who knows them can really look at this guy and kind of tell What kinds of complexes their current struggles are stemming from 😂 If there's anything anybody might have a hard time understanding, it's why he started out Like That at all haha
For Lady Helia, it's the fact that she's struggling at all.
[19] If they could change one thing about their past, what would they change?
Stell wouldn't change a thing. Their past is what fire-forged them to be the ruthless badass they are now, and trying to change that is a disservice to the work he's put in to forge his own fate. Giving his past self wings and a gun sooner wouldn't hurt though
Lady Helia would change the fact that she was a chosen hero. But that might change history too much wouldn't it?? Maybe change how everyone treated her--no, that might be too much to ask...actually, she wouldn't change anything either; whatever that had happened has happened and everything that will happen is set and she and everyone can accept that. It's fine, really.
[23] What was the worst, the darkest period of their life that they have been through?
Stell was figuratively born in the dark, found a clockwork star-shaped spark, built a campfire, and called it day. They still have yet to crawl out of their allegorical cave, and at this point in time, has yet to find out that fire can burn.
Lady Helia was literally born in the dark, but her true darkest days did not begin until after light was restored. (She got better though)

Regarding Lady Helia and the new lore dropped. During her long solo flights, did she ever tried to look for more like her? Also, while we know it didn’t happen, how would she have reacted (and the town as well) to finding someone similar like her?

Hi again Anon! It's been a bit busy, so I appreciate the patience!

Anyone aware of the state of the worlds at this point in time would know that searching was a futile cause. Despite being well aware of this, it didn't stop Helia from keeping an idle eye out and a faint hope that maybe. Just maybe. She wasn't the only one.
She had heard story and song of who she was and what she was supposed to be, but it didn't stop her from wondering about other members of her species. Were they all just as powerful, just as bright? Were they all heroes, loved and adored?
Were they all just as alone?
Her quiet searches would curb as more and more responsibilities made it increasingly more difficult to sneak out. It may have gotten smothered as time went by, but she always held a tiny spark, a quiet hope that maybe someday, she might meet another just like her.
That spark would eventually die--not with a bang, but with a silent, resigned acceptance.
As to how she and others would have reacted should another puffball had shown up, I feel like it's best exemplified by this recent art haha 😂
Also! Strix may be an OC that belongs to @alagaesia-overlord, but she has given her permission (and explicit preference!) that asks regarding Strix be sent to this blog rather than her own!

My next questions are about Helia (sorry if I wrote her name wrong). How was her life and daily routine like when she was alive? Did she have time for herself or was she constantly working to protect that side of the galaxy? Did she have any place to destress and finally, did she have any favorite item that had a special meaning or maybe a memory?
final question: It’s about Singularity. I noticed that it was stated that it forgot its original purpose and now consumed all. Did it use to be a normal person? Perhaps the same species as all our friends (puffball, celestial, etc.)? If so, what happened to them? If you don’t mind sharing about it that is. If not, then, any other sort of info is welcomed!

Hi Anon, answering these in reverse order because I wanted to give proper time to come up my answer for the first ask!! 👀
Gonna break this up into chunks in the meantime--fair warning, it's both a bit hefty and heavy!
Regarding Lady Helia:
Most of Lady Helia's waking moments were dedicating to serving her system, from the more obvious combat training and defeating the rampant dark matter that plagued them, to regularly making public appearances in communities, attending ceremonies, events, the like. As a chosen hero and symbol of hope, protection of community morale was just as important as protection of the actual community!
This also meant that she had very little free time, if at all. How exactly she spent the few moments she could steal for herself varied over time, from taking long solo flights, to quietly eavesdropping town gossip, to enjoying the solace of her own room.
In terms of favorite things and memories, historians would assert that the thing she loved most was her own system and her memories spending time with its denizens, being that she was willing to sacrifice herself so that they may thrive under her light.
If you asked Lady Helia herself, she would have been inclined to agree, for lack of a more favorable answer.
Regarding the Singularity:
The Singularity was a monstrous amalgamate formed from colonies of dark matter. Dark matter species dynamics in general is something I'd like to expand on properly in a future Workplace Gossip lecture, but with regards to the Singularity in particular, it was the product of an ancient attempt to 'cleanse' the galaxy of the darkness as a whole.
One cannot tip the balance between light and dark without consequence.
And when condensed and crystallized, a massive amount of will can be a powerful and frightening thing.
As of the present, the Singularity is completely and wholly gone. But should similar factors fall into place, there is no guarantee the same phenomena can't happen again.
What if someone accidentally comes across Parhelic Anima with no malicious intentions whatsoever? Would Stell ever give them a chance to explain themself or would he uh, deal with them first?
Technically it has already happened before! Going a little more into detail under the cut, but the short answer is while there is a Tiny 🤏 bit of nuance to the actual conclusion depending on the case, the process is still handled with violence in some way or the other 👍
When approached by a visitor, engaging in the duel is non-negotiable. In Stell's eyes, they are all wishers and challengers, come with the intent to steal his comet's power for themselves. As such, they must be judged accordingly, even if in actuality the visitor's intent may be far from it.
When the outcome of the duel is clear--in that Parhelion Knight is clearly besting the challenger--then in the final moments, a choice is offered.
The challenger may yield.
Tuck their tail between their legs and leave in humiliation and dishonor, but with their life intact.
Or they may continue.
In which--well, they were offered mercy and refused, so clearly the rest of the stops can be pulled, right?
In Fayre's case, as demonstrated in @humming-fly's masterpost (under the "'Among-Us' Arc" header), Fayre did not approach the comet as a challenger or wisher, but instead was found already inside the comet as a stowaway.
To Stell, that was breaking the rules. (Even if he was the one that made them up)
Rule breakers do not get mercy.
Fortunately, Fayre was slippery and witty enough to continually bob and weave out of Stell's crosshairs and finally (after several arduous weeks) convince them that they didn't mean any harm, but had Stell had his way, things would have ended quite differently 😔✊
