JO July Drabbles - Day 9 - Martin(a)/Pool

They are girls in this.

“So,” Martina begins. “Are you going to ask her out today?” Bojana splutters. “Excuse me?” “You know what I’m talking about.” “Of course I do, but that doesn’t mean I’m willing to do anything about it. Let alone today! I have a sunburn.” “Kristina does too.” "Her's is stylish." "What are you talking about?" Martina sighs. “Stop glaring at her, you’ll get wrinkles.” Bojana immediately smooths out the frown between her eyebrows. “At least talk to her. Invite her over, we have the nicer spot on the grass anyway.” Wistfully, Bojana looks over at where Kristina and Jana are chilling in a shallower corner of the pool. They’re chatting, leaning onto the edge. Martina and Bojana both watch as Kristina pushes herself up and out of the water, throwing her friend a lighthearted eye roll at whatever she is saying. She walks over to her towel, her long limbs glistening in the sun. Bojana chokes on a breath and grips Martina’s shoulder as her crush runs a hand through her wet hair. Martina may not be into girls, but looking at Kristina she gets the appeal. Her sunburn is just as ridiculous as Bojana’s though. “I’m gonna throw up,” Bojana says. Kristina visibly winces when she steps on a spot of spikey grass in the dry patch where her towel is. “I’m gonna ask her if she wants to come over,” Bojana decides instead and promptly gets up. “Hey,” Martina interjects when Bojana starts for Kristina’s direction, “ask Jana too! Hey, are you listening? Boki!” Martina tuts. “Unbelievable.”

JO July Drabbles - Day 8 - Angel, Devil/Shopping/Sparklative (adjacent)

Always double check the cringe level with your friends.

“On a scale from yes to no,” Kris begins, “how cringe is it to do Angel and Devil?” “What are you talking about?” Jan asks blearily through the speaker. “For the Halloween show I mean.” With his fingertip, Kris test the spikey-ness of the devil-horn-headband on the display in front of him. Surprisingly spikey. “We’re doing costumes?” Kris tuts. “Of course we are. It was a hit, wasn’t it?” “Hm, true.” Jan yawns. Seems like Kris rang him awake with the phonecall. “And you’re thinking Angel and Devil for…” “You and me, yeah. I have the white outfit and you the black one.” “Little bit cringe,” Jan declares. Kris sighs. “Yeah, I feared that.” “Unless… are you shopping right now?” “Yeah.” “Do they have black wings also? Or just white?” Kris smiles. “Black too. And they’re sparkly.” Jan hums in appreciation. “Then I’m in.”

jo july drabbles - 8/6 - shopping (fem!kris/nace)

i 🩷 being predictable it makes me happy

Nace isn’t all that familiar with make-up stores. There’s never been any reason, before now, all trips he’s ever taken inside any Sephora or Nyx for a friend or girlfriend having been almost entirely handled by a sales associate.

Being here with Kris, though… it’s nothing like the neutral instances of before. It’s almost calming. He’s aware he’s little more than her personal shopping assistance, walking around with her hand basket as she scrutinizes different lip liners.

“What do you think of this one?” she says, pointing to a reddish brown on the back of her palm. “Maybe with that red you liked? The one with the white tube.”

He thinks of how pretty it’d look all smudged around her face, sticking to his skin, to their sheets, as she calls his name. mindless with pleasure.

He smiles at her, “You know I think whatever you want is perfect.”

Day Seven: Mistake (118 words)

Walking in on Kris wearing a skirt wasn't on Jure Bingo card for the afternoon, but after getting over the initial shock he couldn't look away. The long cream colored pleated skirt made him look heavenly.

"Jure! It's, it's not wh-"

"You look so fucking hot right now. Do you not realize that?" Jure stepped closer, but never taking his eyes off the material flowing around the blonde.

"Really? I wasn't sure about the color." Kris looked down at himself, fiddling with the material.

"I love it. Makes you look even taller, and more confident than usual. Are you wearing that for the gig tonight?"

"Maybe? You think Finland will like it?"

"Oh they will LOVE it, trust me!"

Day Six: Tell Me How it Feels (163 words)

"How does that feel Krisko?" Jure felt the full body shiver at his words come from the youngest. He had one hand gripping Kris' lower stomach so he can feel each time he snaps his hips forward, the other barely grazing up the others neck causing Kris to tip his head back into his shoulder with that delicious little gasp he craved like air.

They were in the rehearsal space late again, and Kris had been wearing his button up undone for hours, practically flaunting his soft pecs just out of reach of Jure's grasp. So Jure is quite proud of his resolve for being able to wait to drag Kris into loft and fuck him on the banister.

"S-so good, fuck!" Jure smiled into Kris' neck, loving to feel the heat of his blush and nip at the thin skin. He heard that little gasp again and knew Kris was in fact feeling very good, and that he wouldn't last much longer.

jo july drabbles - 4/6 - drunk

200 words

i wasn't gonna be doing anything for the july drabbles tbh but i was actually drunk a couple of nights ago when i figured sometimes you just have to decide you can't drown in it anymore. so yeah.

“Fuck!” Jan squeals when the rosé hits his loose shirt. 

Jure bursts into laughter when Jan tries wringing out his shirt with one hand, the other still busy holding up the bottle he’d been sharing with Bojan, all while his shirt is still on. Bojan tries to take the bottle from Jan but only succeeds in spilling more wine, this time onto the grass they’re sitting on.

Kris watches the scene on, sipping on the bottle he’d meant to share with Jure, but that Jure hasn’t taken back in a while, when Nace sits down next to him. He’s chuckling in that low tone that he does, watching on in fondness. 

It is quite the sweet scene, Kris thinks. Jan somehow has managed to lose his shirt but not the wine bottle - a move he’ll inevitably complain about tomorrow when he wakes covered in mosquito bites, - while Bojan bargains for it, and Jure is damn near tears watching them, all while an orange and purple sunset paints the sky above them.

Nace’s arm loops around Kris’s shoulders, his hand finding the side of Kris’s face, gently pulling him in until Kris’s face turns into Nace’s shoulder, that low tone reverberating.

I couldn't help myself when I saw the prompts for today. I mean, come on. when do rain and smoking not go hand in hand?

The air inside was heavy and hot, but it quickly got replaced by the fresh breeze outside when Jan opened the window. He leaned against the wooden frame, taking in the scent of summer rain, before he turned his focus to the cigarettes waiting for him.

Jan lit one and inhaled the thick smoke with a pleased hum. Without him even noticing, Kris had made his way from the bed to the window, right beside him, their bodies sticking together from the sweat the moment he leaned his body against Jan's.

He gingerly placed the cigarette between Kris' lips and sighed happily at the feeling of his lover exhaling against the side of his neck.
