Sometimes I wanna be heartless too but that's not who I am
I’m learning how important rest plays in my selfcare rituals. Give yourself time to rest and decompress from the weight of everyday life. It’s okay to take moment of stillness and connect with your body and spirit. That’s the source of your healing… be still today, or tomorrow or whenever you find the time. But make the choice because your rest matters and it’s the biggest form of self love we can offer ourselves.

Address the perpetrator inside you, so you can be set free.
Be around people who are real and passionate, who feel deeply and are not afraid to tell the truth.
Accept your needs, accept your wants, accept your desires. Stop trying to act satisfied with what life hands you if you genuinely aren’t okay with it...create the lifestyle you want, accept the lifestyle you want.
not to be a hedonist but. pleasure IS the whole point, my loves. we are made for pleasure. humans have not survived out of spite or sheer grit or simply to make more humans. we live for pleasure. the pleasure of licking the last delicious crumbs off your fingers and feeling sunlight on your skin and massaging a loved one's shoulders. we're made to fill our bellies with delicious food, to nap in soft grass, to touch each other in joy and comfort.
there is no shame or guilt in our bodies doing what they were made to do. and we are made for pleasure.
Telling me to “come peaceful” is offensive to me. When all you ever did was provoke my peace.
Discipline is the strongest form of self love. It’s ignoring current pleasures for bigger rewards to come. It’s loving yourself enough to do whatever you need to do, to give yourself everything you’ve ever wanted. It’s giving up the good for the great. It’s about being relentless and having tunnel vision. It’s about believing in the long game and knowing you will accomplish the things you want.
Not all storms come to disrupt your life, some come to clear the path.
